The Best Point-And-Shoot Cameras Capture Amazing Photos With Ease

June 21, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin The best point-and-shoot cameras in 2022 have their advantages—particularly for capturing great-looking images on the go. The cameras built into the latest smartphones (including the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max , Google Pixel 6 Pro or the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra ) can produce images that rival those from point-and-shoot cameras. But standalone point-and-shoot cameras remain a strong choice for amateur, enthusiast and professional photographers alike. These cameras are typically small in size and weight compared with their larger mirrorless or digital SLR cousins. Some have ruggedized designs or extra-long zoom lenses. All offer an Auto mode, which means you simply frame shots using the viewfinder or rear display and then press the shutter button to snap a photo. Most also offer specialty photo preset modes for use in specific situations. All can shoot at least high-definition video, and many can shoot 4K or higher resolution … [Read more...] about The Best Point-And-Shoot Cameras Capture Amazing Photos With Ease

Wall Street ends lower after Powell remarks, as energy shares drag

June 23, 2022 by www.theedgemarkets.com

- A + A (June 23): Wall Street's main indexes ended with slim losses on Wednesday after choppy trading as energy shares weighed and investors digested Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's comments on the central bank's aim to bring down inflation. After opening lower, major US indexes had erased losses following Powell's testimony before a Senate committee, but then they faded into the close. Powell said the Fed is "strongly committed" to bringing down inflation that is running at a 40-year high while policymakers are not trying to cause a recession in the process. Investors are trying to assess how far stocks could fall as they weigh risks to the economy with the Fed hiking rates to tamp down surging inflation. The S&P 500 earlier this month fell over 20% from its January all-time high, confirming the common definition of a bear market, with the benchmark index last week logging its biggest weekly percentage drop since March 2020. “Markets continue to be … [Read more...] about Wall Street ends lower after Powell remarks, as energy shares drag

Technical View | Nifty forms bearish candle, experts say a breach of 15,385 will add to weakness

June 22, 2022 by www.moneycontrol.com

The Nifty ended lower again on June 22 a day after rebounding strongly sharply, as selling across global counterparts and sectors weighed on sentiment. The index ended 225.50 points, or 1.44, percent, lower at 15,413.30 It formed a bearish candle on the daily chart as the closing was below the opening level. If the index breaks 15,385, the day's low, in the coming session, then it can slide to 15,183, the recent low, experts said. "The Nifty50 is still sustaining above the bullish gap zone of 15,419 – 15,382 levels. Hence, unless the Nifty closes below 15,382 mark, weakness will not be confirmed and on such a close, the index can initially revisit the recent lows of 15,183 levels and below that weakness shall initially extend towards 14,900," Mazhar Mohammad, Founder & Chief Market Strategist at Chartviewindia said. If the index manages to defend 15,182, a pull-back rally with initial targets of 15,700 is possible, the market expert said. But considering strong moves of … [Read more...] about Technical View | Nifty forms bearish candle, experts say a breach of 15,385 will add to weakness
