Dozens of guests thought they would be gathering at El Moussa’s home to head for the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday. Instead, they arrived at the surprise wedding of El Moussa, 35, star of HGTV’s home rehab show “Flip or Flop,” and Anstead, 39, host of the British car show “Wheeler Dealers.” Vows were exchanged under an altar in the front yard, reported People Magazine, which broke the story of the nuptials this week. State regulators were up in arms because the campground where the ceremony was scheduled was intended for public, not private usage. But an upscale hotel nearby had contracted it to Parker and his guests for the party, which was happening in less than a week. That standoff finally bore its fruit this week: a long awaited agreement between the state of California and the billionaire tech entrepreneur. The California Coastal Commission, which issued numerous violations to Parker and the hotel for the event at the time, released a slickly designed app that Parker created as part of a settlement with the state that included a $2.5 million payout.
