Another crazy video of unknown objects in the sky has hit the web. In a video shared by CBS 8 San Diego, multiple lights could be seen floating in the night sky near San Diego earlier in the week, and it’s definitely not clear what they are. What I will say is that they damn sure don’t seem to be planes. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football) To make matters more interesting, CBS 8 San Diego reported that the local military bases – Camp Pendleton and NAS North Island – also don’t know what was going on. You can check out the report in the video below and decide for yourself what you think. What’s very interesting about this situation is that I actually had a military contact of mine text me about these lights as they were happening. ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ with swimming and diving comes at the right time
Nintendo has impeccable timing. Just when Animal Crossing: New Horizons was on the verge of going stale with the lack of new content, the developer recently announced a July 3 update that adds major new features. The most obvious one is swimming and diving. It’s an option that appeared previously in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch title. Players will need to grab a wet suit so they can swim and dive around their islands. Players can’t go far but they can hug the coast and find new sea creatures to add to their museum and perhaps terrify Blathers. Along with swimming, Pascal, a red sea otter, will make an appearance in New Horizons . He loves scallops and if players find one, they can trade it to him for mermaid-themed crafting recipes. Lastly, Gulliver has a wardrobe change. He's dressed more like a pirate and helping him will get players a special reward. Although his tasks to find his communicator pieces are redundant at times, … [Read more...] about ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ with swimming and diving comes at the right time
Do pandas really exist? Over on TikTok, the jury’s out
Few animals are as beloved (and protected) as giant pandas. But while the species holds the status of “national treasure” in China, its very existence is currently being questioned on TikTok. Some users of the platform claim that pandas aren’t real. So what’s with this conspiracy theory that seems to fascinate the younger generation? Their cuddly, furry bodies, big eyes and clumsy walk make giant pandas particularly endearing. It’s no wonder the black and white bear has become a symbol of environmental protection, as well as the national symbol of China, the only country where the species still lives in the wild. While the species has not been considered endangered since 2016, some Internet users say it never was. They even go further, in fact, claiming that these mammals never existed in the first place, and are actually just men dressed up in panda suits or bears painted black and white. This conspiracy theory is particularly popular on TikTok, where the hashtag … [Read more...] about Do pandas really exist? Over on TikTok, the jury’s out

Jeremy Pruitt Says Nick Saban Embraces Debate, Is All ‘About Efficiency’
It sounds like Alabama football coach Nick Saban doesn’t mind people pushing back on his opinions. Saban has seven national titles, and he’s viewed by most fans as the greatest coach in the history of the sport. There’s also always been the sense that he rules with an absolute iron fist, but it turns out that he also likes to embrace opposing points of views in meetings, according to former Alabama DC Jeremy Pruitt. New Merrill Culture Sparks Growth, Creates New Ways To Serve Families
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Andy Sieg has dramatically altered Merrill Lynch’s wealth management’s culture during the past five years, rejuvenating the firm’s organic growth. When Sieg joined the firm as president in 2017, the company was losing marketshare to discount brokerage houses and competitors. Some Merrill advisors were comfortable and didn’t want to add new accounts. And Merrill was losing about as many households as it was adding each year. Between 2000 and 2016 Merrill’s share of the market dropped to 5% from 7%. The declines came during a period of rapid asset growth in the wealth management industry. “It took a number of years for the trend to be really clear,” Sieg said, noting that Merrill had added assets and reported strong earnings during 2000-2016 despite the market share loss. Most Merrill’s asset growth had resulted from advisors leaving competitors and bringing their customers to Merrill. To be sure, the lack of … [Read more...] about New Merrill Culture Sparks Growth, Creates New Ways To Serve Families
