The new TV viewing platform is T-Mobile’s rebranded and upgraded version of its previously named Layer3 TV service, which is purchased in 2017. The debut date for TVision is slated for April 14.T-Mobile’s TVision service will initially be available in Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, New York City, and Longmont, Colorado, which are the same service areas where Layer3 was previously been available, TechCrunch reported.The TVision service will be made available to subscribers for $100 per month with access to more than 150 channels. Yesterday AT&T rolled out a software update to its Android phones that changed the 4G logo to a 5G logo, claiming its current service is now “5G.” However, those phones on AT&T’s network weren’t actually suddenly 5G-enabled and running on the next-generation network. The move was just an incredibly shady and misleading branding tactic, as ArsTechnica pointed out. And the internet was having none of it. On Twitter, the hashtag #fake5G quickly spread. But some of AT&T’s rivals also jumped on the shaming wagon. Our favorite was T-Mobile’s snarky reply on Twitter: But another rival thought a more serious reply was needed. This is the add-on that gives T-Mobile users access to a lot of the same features that are already included in Verizon’s unlimited plan, stuff like HD video streaming, 10GB of tethering hotspot data and free Wi-Fi on planes. On the other hand, Verizon charges almost $3 a month for anti-spam features to weed out robocalls and automated messages, even though AT&T and T-Mobile include these services for free.All things considered, T-Mobile’s $75-a-month unlimited plan will soon cost just a little more than Verizon’s offering.
