At least five people were arrested on Sunday evening after they were spotted on top of the roof of Trump World Tower, a 72-story skyscraper in Midtown East. The people appeared to be posing for and taking photos. Their legs and limbs often dangled over the edge of the roof, which is about 750 feet above ground. Video from NBC 4 New York's Top of the Rock cam recorded them on the rooftop for more than a half hour. There was no visible safety equipment. It wasn't clear how they accessed the roof. And all of the political combat that goes with it. It's difficult for a president to negotiate in good faith when his administration doesn't view Congress as a co-equal branch of government. It's also difficult for Democratic leaders to sell bipartisan deals to their rank-and-file after what's transpired … [Read more...] about Another dysfunctional and combative week in the Trump Era

President Trump’s plans to build a tower in Moscow have come under fire recently after BuzzFeed reported that Trump instructed his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to lie about the project. Trump’s current lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, previously told The New Yorker that the project never made it to the draft stage and has offered conflicting accounts of the timeline. Trump has walked away from his real estate projects since becoming president, but a number of towers still bear his name. Business Insider pulled together a list of all the Trump Towers that have been built or are set to be completed soon. Donald Trump’s real estate dealings have cast a persistent shadow over his presidency.
