The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) unanimously decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 5.15 percent in its sixth bio-monthly policy meeting while retaining accommodative stance. The central bank consistently cut the repo rate by 135 bps in the last five meetings before this."The MPC recognises that there is monetary policy space for future action.
