This whole situation has left me really sad and empty. I checked on the lines person and the tournament told me that thank God she is feeling ok. I‘m extremely sorry to have caused her such stress. So unintended. So wrong. I’m not disclosing her name to respect her privacy. As for the disqualification, I need to go back within and work on my disappointment and turn this all into a lesson for my growth and evolution as a player and human being. I apologize to the @usopen tournament and everyone associated for my behavior. I’m very grateful to my team and family for being my rock support, and my fans for always being there with me. Thank you and I’m so sorry. Cela ova situacija me čini zaista tužnim i praznim. How could an otherwise charming player, who invites ballkids to sit with him during rain breaks, do something so careless? … [Read more...] about Djokovic has a Federer moment at the US Open
Funding employee resource groups (ERGs). Katie Dunlap, from YourCause, defines ERGs as “groups of employees with shared interests who come together to support each other and learn from one another. ERGs typically align around demographics or life circumstances. ERGs are often a place where professional and personal development, support, information sharing, community outreach, networking, recruiting, and shared experiences are found. These groups are a safe space for those who self-identify to find support, but they are also a place where allies of that group can show and find support as well.” We currently have two ERGs, Out at Zapier and Womxn of Zapier, and we’re working on adding more. … [Read more...] about How to change the way we view women’s worth at work
It was some six years ago that Infosys’s founders started their experiment with the company’s first professional CEO with Vishal Sikka, a former senior executive at business software behemoth SAP. Announcing Sikka’s appointment to the chief executive’s post, founder NR Narayana Murthy was in a great mood, joking with reporters at a press conference that ‘sikka’ meant coin or money, and therefore, he hoped Vishal Sikka would make even more money for the company. … [Read more...] about Is Salil Parekh Infosys’s bellweather beacon?
