A 61-year-old chemical engineering professor has reportedly been suspended from his job for appearing in a series of porn films with women roughly 40 years younger than he is. The professor and porn thespian is Nicholas Goddard, reports Metro, a tabloid newspaper out of the United Kingdom . By day, for over two decades, Goddard has belonged to the faculty at the University of Manchester. From his academic perch, he has published myriad scholarly papers. For 10 years or so, Goddard has also been moonlighting in the porn industry as “Old Nick.” The specialty of the sexagenarian — absolutely no pun intended — is sex romps with young porn starlets. Goddard’s smut films include “Blonde teen Lexi gets fucked by Old Nick” and “Busty teen Lolly fuck old Nick outdoors.” The collection of skin flicks, collectively called “Beauty and the Senior,” has been viewed by over a million avid porn consumers on websites such as Pornhub. Pan Borneo Highway to be completed in next five years, says Fadillah
- A + A KUCHING (May 22): The Pan Borneo Highway project is expected to be ready in the next five years, including construction of the Trans Borneo Highway that will connect Sarawak and Sabah. Senior Works Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said construction of the Pan Borneo Highway had so far reached 82% completion, with four packages already fully completed, namely the Telok Melano-Sematan, Nyabau, Serian-Balai Ringin and Julau. “The remaining packages, hopefully, will be completed by the end of this year. It’s only we anticipate that one or two packages could be delayed due to the challenges, especially the shortage of building materials and their rising costs. "Meanwhile, many foreign workers have not come in, specifically from Indonesia as Sarawak only accepts those from that neighbouring country. “The increase in the price of diesel is also another challenge faced by the contractors, besides the cost of steel. “Hence, the Sarawak Public Works Department … [Read more...] about Pan Borneo Highway to be completed in next five years, says Fadillah
6 short films make it to 2022 QCinema film fest
Austin Tan, director of “Ngatta Naddaki y Nuang?” (Why did the Carabao cross the Carayan?) This year’s winning short films examine cinema and interrogate space created, recreated and destroyed through it,” said filmmaker Ed Lejano as he described the lineup of the 10th edition of QCinema International Film Festival that will run in November. Six shorts were chosen from close to 160 entries after a difficult screening process. Each filmmaker received a grant of P350,000, added Lejano, who is also festival director. “A refreshingly diverse program of themes and styles are in store for all viewers in QCinema’s 10th year,” Lejano said in a statement sent to Inquirer Entertainment. “Its roster covers a range of concerns—from a reflexive attempt to save a silent film reel, an introspective search for meaning by an online sex worker, contrasting issues of migration both set in Cagayan Valley, to a psychological journey in a Quezon forest, and to a surreal one set amidst the backdrop of … [Read more...] about 6 short films make it to 2022 QCinema film fest

DOF conducts lifestyle checks on all its employees
Employees of the Department of Finance (DOF) are playing catch me if you can with their employer. The DOF is faced with the challenge of discovering the unexplained wealth of its employees, who it says are better at hiding assets the higher they are in the bureaucracy. “Our problem is, the higher the rank, the smarter they get in hiding assets. We just have to outthink them,” said Finance Undersecretary Bayani Agabin. The DOF is conducting lifestyle checks on its employees and on those working at its attached agencies after finding out that some workers own expensive condominium units and cars despite their meager salaries. Review of SALNs “So what we do is to look up the SALNs [statements of assets, liabilities and net worth] of everyone under our umbrella.” Agabin told reporters on Friday night. “And then we compare, look at the trend and [their SALN] declaration.” The DOF’s attached agencies are the Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Bureau of Local … [Read more...] about DOF conducts lifestyle checks on all its employees
Indonesia’s fractured student movement losing power to effect change
JAKARTA, May 22 (Jakarta Post/ANN): Indonesia’s student movement is struggling to retain its role as an agent of change, as previously united fronts fragment and alliances with the governing elite are nurtured, not avoided. Over the past five years, a number of student demonstrations have been staged in protest of state policies deemed detrimental to the welfare of the people and to democracy. However, these protests have either been ignored by policymakers or have been met with state violence. During the 2019 #ReformasiDikorupsi (reform corrupted) protests in opposition to several controversial pieces of legislation, for instance, university students took to the streets in cities across the country alongside workers’ and farmers’ unions. The students opposed the electoral candidacy of former graft busters, as well as plans to revise the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Law and the Mining Law. They also called for ongoing human rights abuse cases to be resolved and for … [Read more...] about Indonesia’s fractured student movement losing power to effect change

The U.S. Census Bureau said Thursday that it “significantly” miscounted the population of more than a quarter of U.S. states in the 2020 census. The Census Bureau conducted a follow-up survey which found that 14 states were either under- or over-counted by a statistically significant amount.
