Speaking to Bernama, its Trustee, Datuk N Sivakumar, said the temple was making all preparations for Hindu devotees to pay their vows, including bringing 'paal koodam' (milk pot offering) and 'kavadi' and shaving their hair as penance for answered prayers until Jan 30. “Many were unable to fulfill their vows on Thaipusam day, so prayer ceremonies including kavadi, paal koodam and shaving are allowed from 5am to 10pm and the temple will probably operate longer if there are many devotees,” he said. He added that all prayer ceremonies in conjunction with Thaipusam would maintain the standard operating procedures (SOP) under Phase Four of the National Recovery Plan (PPN) and the public do not have to register online for any ceremonies. … [Read more...] about Hindu devotees can fulfil vows at Batu Caves Temple until Jan 30

The Chinese e-commerce giant and internet conglomerate Alibaba Group ( NYSE:BABA ) had a troubled 2021, as it made headlines for various reasons and its shares tumbled by more than 40%. The stock is now at its lowest valuation since it began trading on the U.S. market. Xilinx is the leader in field-programmable gate arrays and together they'll most likely take more market share from Intel . AMD recently got two upgrades. One is from KeyBanc, which upgraded to overweight from sector weight with a $155 price target. And another is from Goldman Sachs , where the analyst has a $170 price target on the stock. As far as partnerships with Big Tech, AMD does very well. Meta Platforms will use AMD chips to power the metaverse and help run its data centers. Tesla 's new Model 3 and Model Y vehicles will be equipped with the new AMD Ryzen chip in 2022. And earlier this month AMD announced that Amazon Web Services has expanded its AMD … [Read more...] about Will 2022 Be Another Great Year for AMD?
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Our theme of Apple Component Supplier Stocks – which includes a diverse set of companies that supply components for Apple’s iPhones and other iDevices, has remained roughly flat year-to-date in 2022, compared to the broader S&P 500 which remains down by about -4%. Over 2021, the theme gained about 17%, underperforming the broader market which gained about 27% over the same period. So what does 2022 hold for Apple supplier stocks? Moreover, the semiconductor shortage, which hurt the broader consumer electronics industry, could also ease a bit this year, potentially helping these stocks. That being said, demand for these companies is heavily … [Read more...] about Will Lower Multiple Tech Stocks Do Better In 2022?
