Shabu (crystal methamphetamine) | INQUIRER.net stock image LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested two drug suspects and seized P27,200 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Naga City, Camarines Sur, on Friday afternoon. Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Mark Christian Casaul, 28, and Christian Sarion, 21, were arrested in Barangay Balatas at around 1:15 p.m. Bongon said both suspects were on the illegal drugs watch list in the city. Authorities recovered seven sachets of shabu from the duo. The hanging bridge made of wooden boards and metal chains had recently been remodeled. Video of the collapse suggested the boards separated from the chains supporting them. Local officials, including city council members, fell about 10 feet (3 meters) onto rocks and boulders in the streambed.
