Called a SmileShop, customers can receive a 3D scan of their teeth that will be used to create a pair of invisible braces. Kohl’s is being hailed as a winner of the retail apocalypse as other department stores like Sears struggle. Comparable sales were up 2.5% at Kohl’s in the third quarter. Part of why it’s doing so well is thanks to the changes it’s making to stores, like adding pickup lockers and selling Amazon devices. We visited Kohl’s and saw why it has been so successful lately. Kohl’s is thriving as other department stores struggle. In November, Kohl’s reported that comparable sales were up 2.5% in the third quarter of 2018. Meanwhile, other department stores like Sears and JCPenney have been struggling through crippling sales declines. One major advantage that Kohl’s has over other department stores is that nine out of 10 Kohl’s stores are in suburban strip malls rather than enclosed shopping malls, so it isn’t as strongly effected by declining foot traffic to malls. One of the largest pyramids in the world is in Memphis, Tennessee, and is owned by Bass Pro Shops. The “Great American Pyramid” is taller than the Statue of Liberty and houses a super-sized Bass Pro Shops, a hunting lodge-themed hotel, an indoor swamp, a bowling alley, and two restaurants. The Sunderland AFC merchandise concession which is part of the city's Debenhams department store is to close this weekend. The club has announced that the Bridges-based concession's last full day of trading will be this Sunday. The Stadium of Light store will remain open seven days a week and also stay open for longer after full-time on matchdays. A post on the SAFC website reads: "Sunderland AFC is to make changes to its retail operation, with the club removing its merchandise concession from Debenhams in Sunderland."The outlet’s last day of trading will be Sunday, November 4. "The Stadium of Light’s flagship retail store is open seven days a week, Monday - Saturday from 9am - 5.30pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm."The store is also open for an additional hour after final whistle on matchdays."
