Koch Network Is Latest High-Profile Conservative Group To Oppose Trump’s 2024 Campaign
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Topline The conservative political advocacy network backed by billionaire Charles Koch said Sunday the country “must move past the current political situation” and “turn the page on the past several years,” a statement largely interpreted to mean the influential group will oppose former President Donald Trump in his bid for the White House in 2024. Key Facts In a three-page memo —which did not mention Trump by name—Emily Seidel, the CEO of Americans For Prosperity and Americans For Prosperity Action, wrote the “Republican Party is nominating bad candidates who are advocating for things that go against core American principles,” and noted “the American people are rejecting them.” Seidel said “we need to turn the page on the past,” and the “best thing” for the U.S. “would be to have a president in 2025 who represents a new chapter.” The group will endorse one candidate by the summer, a source told the … [Read more...] about Koch Network Is Latest High-Profile Conservative Group To Oppose Trump’s 2024 Campaign
How Businesses Can Use AI To Improve Their Content Strategy In 2023
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Online content is meant to inspire, engage and inform. More importantly, its goal is to put a business on its target audience’s radar. Even if an informative blog post doesn’t immediately convert readers into customers, the information stays in the back of their minds. Consumers will see the company as a helpful resource, perhaps prompting them to consider its offerings down the road. While digital content might be a good way for companies to reach increasingly savvy audiences, producing it takes significant effort. A lot more goes into social media posts, online articles and website pages than meets the eye. Businesses need a well-executed strategy, plus talented content creators with a bent for research and a bit of technical expertise. At the end of the day, though, creative people are only human, and the job’s demands can become overwhelming. That’s when content teams should get some help from AI tools in handling the … [Read more...] about How Businesses Can Use AI To Improve Their Content Strategy In 2023
Is There A Chief Trust Officer In Your Company’s Future?
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Do your customers trust you? Are you sure? According to PwC’s 2022 Consumer Intelligence Series Survey on Trust , 87% of executives think customers highly trust their companies, but only about 30% of customers do. That’s a 57% gap! The PwC survey also found 71% of consumers say they’re unlikely to buy if a company loses their trust, and 71% of employees say they’re likely to leave if they lose trust. The lack of trust can result in huge problems. Deloitte reports that of more than 260 C-suite executives surveyed, 61% claimed their organizations would work to improve trust with customers and employees. However, just 19% have a leader in the C-suite to oversee the effort, and less than 14% have a way to track trust. Ashley Reichheld, principal and trust leader at Deloitte Consulting LLP, says, “Building trust is among the most powerful ways brands can earn loyalty, drive differentiation and create competitive … [Read more...] about Is There A Chief Trust Officer In Your Company’s Future?
Science-Fiction Film Festival Lands At London Science Museum In IMAX 70mm Format
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Two of my favorite things are IMAX 70mm film projection and science-fiction movies so last Thursday was something of a red letter day when an email landed in my inbox making me aware of a science-fiction film festival at the London Science Museum this March (2023). The sci-fi film festival is offered to celebrate the museum’s exhibition, Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination , and a very good thing it is too. The Science Museum IMAX is the only venue in the country that features both digital dual-laser and 70mm film IMAX projectors, (the BFI IMAX has single laser and 70mm). It has taken its time getting back up and running showing commercial movies as part of its roster and I’m glad it’s now doing so. The festival offers a range of classic sci-fi films alongside special guest speakers and Q&As with key people from the films- but if you don’t already know about it, you’ll need to hurry up and grab some … [Read more...] about Science-Fiction Film Festival Lands At London Science Museum In IMAX 70mm Format
Leaders Are Restoring Trust In Healthcare—But How?
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin As healthcare systems face increasing societal scrutiny and criticism, restoring trust is critical to improving public health. According to a study , if mistrust goes unchecked, it can erode physician-patient relationships and effectuate poorer patient outcomes and prevalent burnout among doctors. Healthcare leaders have taken steps to address this issue. For example, many organizations now utilize customer experience metrics to measure the quality and trustworthiness of their services. But has it made a difference? The 2022 Edelman Trust Barometer concluded that public trust in healthcare systems is, in fact, declining. This is problematic for a variety of reasons. First, patients may be less likely to seek medical help if they distrust the system. Second, physicians may be discouraged from providing care due to negative public opinion. Disparities in how healthcare systems treated different races, genders, and … [Read more...] about Leaders Are Restoring Trust In Healthcare—But How?

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Every week, on his The Soul & Science Podcast , Jason Harris talks with great marketing minds. I was struck by this interview on the subject of keeping the brand fresh: “If you’re standing still, you’re moving backward," said Chris Davis, chief marketing officer of New Balance on the podcast. “Would you take kindly to being called complacent? I know I wouldn't. By not thinking ahead, you could be missing out on big opportunities. Seeking out innovation as you look into the future is crucial. Avoid getting too comfortable in your strategy so that you don’t go stagnant.” No matter how well your marketing is doing, it pays to avoid going stagnant. Happy Valentine’s Day Senator Klobuchar: Bruce Springsteen’s Ticket Prices For His February 14th Show Are Crashing
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Just this week the Senate Judiciary Committee posted an ominous message to Ticketmaster regarding their upcoming sale of tickets for Beyoncé. They took to Twitter to say “ We’re watching @Ticketmaster. ” Since when does the legislative branch of government communicate in the same cadence as Tony Soprano? It is as if the Senators don’t believe the free market works. Perhaps that makes sense in today’s Washington D.C. where George Santos inexplicably remains a sitting member of Congress and a certain ex-President is campaigning on a platform that his 2020 election “victory” was stolen. In the land of reality, tickets trade like any items of value. The prices move up and down based upon supply and demand. Those in the know understand that Bruce Springsteen is almost universally regarded as a stellar artist and performer. Along with that reputation is the lesser known truth that demand for his tickets is always high in New … [Read more...] about Happy Valentine’s Day Senator Klobuchar: Bruce Springsteen’s Ticket Prices For His February 14th Show Are Crashing
Cool Clean Beauty Brands To Know In 2023
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin The art of beauty branding is exciting, challenging, and limitless. As an industry that continues to grow and evolve, the movements in the beauty space are constantly shifting. Everyday on social media, we are presented with new trends like double cleansing, buccal fat reduction, no-poo shampoo, cloud skin, filters in a bottle, and skin flooding. The list is remarkably endless. And for most beauty and wellness brands, this means finding innovative ways to stand out from all that noise. As a beauty and wellness contributor, my inbox is often flooded by hundreds of pitches.
