Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Tesla’s (TSLA) market cap surpassed the trillion-dollar mark, driven by a post-earnings rally that got a boost from the announcement of a 100,000-vehicle order from Hertz (HTZ), which might not even happen. Even if it does come to pass, the Hertz order is a drop in the bucket of growth expectations baked into Tesla’s valuation. Tesla needs 155 Hertz-sized orders to justify the revenue expectations in its stock price. Put another way, the $1.2 trillion valuation implies Tesla owns 60%+ of the entire global passenger EV market and becomes more profitable than Apple (AAPL) by 2030. This report provides objective perspective on how outrageously high the valuation of Tesla stock is and the clear impracticality of the company meeting the expectations baked into its valuation. Tesla’s Valuation vs. Competitors Makes No Sense Tesla’s market cap is now greater than the next 10 largest (ranked by market cap) auto manufacturers … [Read more...] about Tesla: $1 Trillion Of Speculation

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin How far would you go to make a statement to your competition? Not just to showcase your strong points, but blowing away any chance for someone else to even consider reaching your status. Is it even possible to reach such a status? Mercedes says so. Even if the GLE and GLC SUVs and crossovers make for the bulk of Mercedes Benz’ sales in the US, the newly released S-Class truly is the crown jewel. If this were to be a list of great things that the new S500 boasts, it would be longer than a Thanksgiving shopping list for an extended family. Even cherry-picking would be difficult in this case. Even without trying too hard, it’s impossible to miss on the ton of features offered by the newest S-Class. Let’s have a look at the big guns Mercedes pulled to make the new S-Class a car to remember. The Underpinnings - Slightly Bigger, Considerably Better The old S500 has outgrown its clothes, so Mercedes developed the 2022 version on the … [Read more...] about 2022 Mercedes-Benz S500 Review: The Statement

What happened Shares of Chinese electric-vehicle maker Nio ( NYSE:NIO ) opened sharply lower in U.S. trading on Monday amid a broad market sell-off triggered by rising global tensions and interest rate fears ahead of a key U.S. Federal Reserve meeting. As of 10:15 a.m. ET, Nio's American depositary shares were down about 11.9% from Friday's closing price. So what Nio was just one of many companies that saw their shares hit hard in early trading on Monday. Traders and investors are concerned about higher interest rates, which now seem likely amid the highest inflation in years. The U.S. Federal Reserve will begin a two-day meeting on Tuesday that could end with a signal that rates will begin rising as soon as March. Nio confirmed recently that it's on track to launch its next new product, the ET7 sedan, in March. Two more new Nio models are expected before the end of 2022. Image source: Nio. Brightline, the only private passenger rail company in the U.S., could begin construction of its high-speed train from Las Vegas by early 2023 as U.S. regulators start reviewing an extension that would connect it to a Los Angeles suburb. The review focuses on a 49-mile section of Brightline West, the planned service, in California’s Cajon Pass by the Transportation Department’s Federal Rail Administration, the agency said . That segment of the railway, starting in Rancho Cucamonga, would run at speeds of up to 180 miles an hour and connect to a previously approved 216-mile portion from California’s Victor Valley to Las Vegas (speeds on that segment will be up to 200 miles an hour). The assessment could be completed by this November, allowing Brightline to finally begin construction of the project, with an aim of launching passenger rail service in 2026. If the Brightline West project receives final federal approval the Miami-based company could apply for potential … [Read more...] about High-Speed Las Vegas Train Back On Track As U.S. Reviews L.A. U.S. automaker Ford Motor Company ( NYSE:F ) has been viewed as a dinosaur by the growth investing crowd for many years, and the stock price reflected that attitude for most of the decade. But the share price has soared by more than 140% over the past year. With such an elevated valuation, investors might be wondering whether it's about to come back down to earth, or if more good times are ahead. If electric vehicle (EV) leader Tesla 's premium valuation is any indication, investors could see more gains from Ford. Here are three reasons why. Image source: Getty Images. 1. Ford has gotten serious about electric vehicles It's probably fair to say that legacy automakers were skeptical of EVs back when Tesla was a young, struggling company. Their delayed response helped Tesla build a significant lead in electric, and now many formerly skeptical competitors are scrambling to catch up. Globally, automakers could spend more than $500 billion by 2030 to ramp up their … [Read more...] about Should You Invest in Ford in 2022?
Quick Navigation Our technology is becoming ever more advanced. Past things that we used to do by hand are now being done by advanced technologies such as robotics or AI. For example, when going to the supermarket, we no longer need to be served by someone at the checkout, instead, we can use an automatic checkout service. This advance in technology is going to continue, indeed the options offered are more and more every day and one industry to highlight in this sense is the robotics industry. This is one such industry that shows no signs of its growth slowing down and they are becoming ever more popular all around the globe. They are often favoured due to their heightened profitability, increase in reliability, and the fact they can help businesses to get specific tasks done. Whereby traditional working methods such as in warehouses and factories were dangerous, robots are able to get around this. They can manoeuvre into tight spaces that humans can’t, lift much … [Read more...] about What are the Future Trends in Robotics?
