The red carpet event will bring together the best high school athletes in the metro Detroit area. The guest speaker this year will be Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin. Eight player of the year nominees in each MHSAA sport have been chosen by the Free Press, and the winners will be announced live during the awards ceremony. The nominees will receive a complementary ticket and one free ticket for a guest to the event. Additional tickets may be purchased by the general public at sportsawards.freep.com.
