The Kinclaith 51-year-old and Caperdonich 50-year-old both date back to 1969. They form part of a collection of rare whisky casks from closed distilleries, which Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky has matured in their warehouse for half a century. Both whiskies come from what the Scotch whisky industry terms “lost distilleries” - these are distilleries that have been closed and subsequently demolished.
