The central government has emphasised capital expenditure in the economy but it still has not addressed the issues surrounding public-private partnerships in the country, which needs to be urgently looked into, said Vinayak Chatterjee, founder and managing trustee, The Infravision Foundation. " I am not particularly optimistic (about the sucess of the PPP model in India) because I have not seen any, shall I say, strenuous or concerted attempt to address the ills of PPP, to address the issues that made PPP fall," Chatterjee said. He added that while the Centre’s move to increase capital expenditure on infrastructure in 2023-24 is an encouraging move to drive India’s economy and will push the country’s gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) to be around 7.5-8 percent of GDP in the next financial year, “Just a year after recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, if India's GFCF touches 7.5-8 percent in FY24, this is an encouraging sign for the country’s economy,” Chatterjee said. … [Read more...] about Govt spend will boost infra but concerns around public private partnership not addressed: Vinayak Chatterjee.

How Tech Startups And Corporations Can Avail Each Other
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Yura Lazebnikov, an investor, entrepreneur and expert in technology industries, IT and esports. The Managing Partner of TECHIIA Holding. Interactions between a startup and a corporation can speed up the development of both. I've found it can also harm a startup. I want to remind young teams to consider the perspective of corporations. You need to choose the right way to interact to boost your product and avoid worst-case scenarios. For the purposes of this article, a startup is a tech company with an innovative product, at least a few customers and revenue. It offers a fundamentally new solution to a problem. Often, startups have ten to twenty mobile and flexible employees. A person with a laptop working from coffee shops may well be the founder of such a company. Sometimes a startup is also a group of students who write code for some application in their spare time. I am not discussing this case here. Until … [Read more...] about How Tech Startups And Corporations Can Avail Each Other

FC Barcelona Could Sell Jordi Alba And Two More Catalan Defenders In 2023
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin It has been suggested that Jordi Alba and two other defenders could leave FC Barcelona this year ahead of the 2023/2024 season. In the recent January transfer window, former La Masia player Hector Bellerin ended an unflattering loan spell by agreeing to join Sporting Lisbon. Outclassed in Barca's last Champions League group home match against Bayern Munich in late October and given hell by Sadio Mane, the former Arsenal man clearly didn't feature in Xavi's first team plans and managed to muster less than 500 minutes across seven appearances. In the next few months, however, Jordi Alba could join him departing Camp Nou according to Spanish sports magazine Don Balon as relayed by El Nacional . Alba still has a contract until 2024, but his high salary in times when Barca are reportedly being made to shave €200mn ($218mn) off the wage bill to meet La Liga and Financial Fair Play limits, plus the emergence of … [Read more...] about FC Barcelona Could Sell Jordi Alba And Two More Catalan Defenders In 2023
