Fox News Promotes Family Who Transitioned 5-Year-Old Child

June 10, 2022 by dailycaller.com

Fox News aired a segment featuring a family with a transgender child on “America’s Newsroom” Friday. The segment referred to 14-year-old Ryland Whittington, a biological girl who began transitioning at age 5, as a “typical Southern California teenager.” The family went viral in a 2014 YouTube video and the mother, Hillary, has written a book called “Raising Ryland.” “We put our story out there so people can see that there’s another family out there that is going through what we’re going through or there’s another family who’s proud of who they are,” the 14-year-old said. His mother, Hillary, said it was “painful” for Ryland to wear feminine clothes and be told she was a girl. She said she initially believed sex and gender were the same thing, but now believes they are separate. “We thought that gender and sexuality were the same thing,” she said. “It took us awhile to figure out that those two things are different and that children actually do recognize their gender … [Read more...] about Fox News Promotes Family Who Transitioned 5-Year-Old Child

PM Narendra Modi (Image: ANI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his national address on December 25 announced that India will start vaccinating kids aged above 15 years from January 3, 2022. This move, the Prime Minister said, will allay the concerns of parents of the school and college-going kids and also give a fillip to education in India, which has suffered greatly since the outbreak of the pandemic due to the prolonged closure of academic institutions. As a precautionary measure, India will also administer a third dose or booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to healthcare and frontline workers from January 10. Speaking about the need to administer a booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine to healthcare and frontline workers, PM Modi said: “As we are aware, corona warriors and healthcare and frontline workers have contributed greatly to India’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic. They still spend a lot of time in the service of COVID-19 patients.” He added: … [Read more...] about COVID-19 | Vaccine for teens aged 15-18 years from January 3, announces PM Modi

Richard Branson Taps Into a 400,000-Year-Old Practice to Unleash His Best Ideas. You Can Too

August 21, 2018 by www.inc.com

Successful entrepreneurs who make a difference are, in effect, professional storytellers, says Richard Branson . The ability to craft a compelling story behind a product, service, company, or cause has long been one of Branson's great passions. Entrepreneurs who want to excite people and engage hearts and minds should follow Branson's advice--use stories to transfer your ideas to another person. "Storytelling is a great way to get your views across, highlight how you and your company are different than your competitors, and also to work out new ideas," Branson says . Branson doesn't just talk about the power of story to build brands. He uses an ancient, clever practice to build storytelling skills among his Virgin teams and to elicit the best ideas. On Necker, Branson's private island, he likes to end the day swapping stories around an elaborate fire pit. "Storytelling is as old as the campfire, and as young as a tweet," Branson wrote in 2015 about his campfire … [Read more...] about Richard Branson Taps Into a 400,000-Year-Old Practice to Unleash His Best Ideas. Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Research the company. Iron your clothes. Come up with questions. If you’ve ever Googled “How to prepare for a job interview,” then you already know that acing one means — at the very least – checking these boxes. But I’ll admit, despite all the hours of interview prep in the world, sometimes you get thrown a question that makes you sweat. “What’s the biggest piece of criticism you’ve received from previous employers?” “What’s a mistake you made in your last job and how could you have handled it better?” “What does a meaningful career look like to you?” As the hiring manager looks at you with raised eyebrows, your mind goes blank. You have one thought and one thought only: “I don’t remember putting on antiperspirant this morning…” Maybe this sounds like an all-too-familiar situation, or maybe it doesn’t. But go to enough job interviews and I promise you one thing: eventually you’ll be sitting across … [Read more...] about 6 Things To Do When You Don’t Know What To Say In A Job Interview
