BENGALURU: It has been 21 years since he demitted office of the prime minister, but for 86 year old H D Deve Gowda + there is no dearth of energy or clarity in what he wants to pursue. One of the remaining few 24x7 politicians, Gowda is the only other prime minister in the Lok Sabha fray and believes that the Mahaghatbandan is the only “alternative” to PM Modi and BJP’s hardcore communal politics. Travelling in his car, in Tumakuru, Gowda says the biggest challenge for the Mahaghatbandan is to identify a leader and that PM Modi with no children of his own cannot comment on dynasty politics.
