‘The David Hookstead Show’: We Can’t Let Evil Win

May 16, 2022 by dailycaller.com

It’s a great time to remember that you can’t let evil win in this world. On today’s episode of “The David Hookstead Show,” I spoke about the horrific massacre in Buffalo , New York , and how it’s the latest unfortunate reminder that bad people exist in this world. There’s no such thing as evil resting, and that means you have to have situational awareness of what’s going on around you at all times. Trust me, the bad guys don’t give a damn what the laws or the rules are. They’re human garbage looking to do bad things. You can watch me break it all down right at the start of the video below. I wish I didn’t have to talk about people being murdered on “The David Hookstead Show,” but I wouldn’t be doing my job if I just ignored it. People are in a lot of pain right now, and it’s important to remember that there are a lot more good people than bad people. My recent interview with the former three Delta Force guys is proof of the fact. Stay alert, stay safe, pay … [Read more...] about ‘The David Hookstead Show’: We Can’t Let Evil Win

January 10, 2020 by entertainment.inquirer.net

Ice Seguerra brought his wife Liza Diño to Sagada, a place he considers his “sanctuary,” to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. The couple arrived in the picturesque town last Wednesday, Jan. 8, as per Diño’s Instagram page on the same day. She accompanied her post with photos of them striking wacky poses while clad in black hoodies. Diño noted that it was her first time to visit Sagada, which she said is Seguerra’s favorite place. According to her, Seguerra would travel to the said town every year since 2001 because he considered it his “sanctuary.” “Kaso no’ng time na yun… iba ang kasama [niya],” Diño jested. (But during those times… he was with someone else.) She then noted that seven years after they “found each other again,” Seguerra finally brought her along. Diño also joked that she would erase all of the memories her husband had with other people. “Happy 5th wedding anniversary my love,” Diño said. “Di tayo nakacelebrate last … [Read more...] about ‘My sanctuary’: Ice Seguerra takes Liza Diño to Sagada for 5th wedding anniversary

Brazil supreme court sides with Netflix over gay Jesus comedy

January 10, 2020 by entertainment.inquirer.net

BRASÍLIA, Brazil — Brazil’s highest court on Thursday rejected a lower court’s decision to remove from Netflix a comedy depicting Jesus Christ in a gay relationship. The head of the Supreme Federal Court, Judge Antonio Dias Toffoli, sided with the streaming platform’s appeal against a temporary injunction banning the movie. It denied the idea that the movie was insulting to Christians. “One cannot suppose that a humorous satire has the ability to weaken the values of the Christian faith, whose existence is traced back more than two thousand years, and which is the belief of the majority of Brazlian citizens,” the judge said. The film, entitled “The First Temptation of Christ”, by the Brazilian production company Porta dos Fundos, came out on December 3 and drew strong criticism from conservative politicians in the mainly Catholic country, from the church itself and from evangelicals. It depicts Jesus returning home with his boyfriend Orlando after 40 days in the desert, as … [Read more...] about Brazil supreme court sides with Netflix over gay Jesus comedy
