June 28, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin When it comes to mobile-first populations, India leads the list. The country counts more than 1 billion active mobile subscriptions with a massive appetite for mobile apps and interaction. On a single day in December 2021, for example, an astounding 1.06 billion mobile subscribers were active on their phones. Fast forward to 2022, and the State of Mobile 2022 report by Data.ai , a market intelligence and decision-making platform for the mobile app economy, shows app downloads in India hit the highest levels yet. What's more, the report highlights an uplift in the two metrics that matter most to marketers: time and money spent on apps. Indian consumers spent roughly one-third of their waking hours on mobile, using their devices for an average of 4 hours and 42 minutes per day in 2021. Compare that to the average daily television viewership of around 3 hours and 17 minutes per day, and it's clear mobile is where the … [Read more...] about Targeting India’s Smaller Cities Paves The Way To Mobile Commerce Gold

Why A Missing Link For Economic Mobility Could Be Young People’s Optimism

August 4, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin It’s long been believed that young people tend to suffer most from any recession as the impact is felt hardest by those who are at the start of their careers. For instance, previous research has found that the unemployment rate for 21 to 25-year-olds is double that of 25 to 54-year-olds during a recession. Redundancies during this early stage in our careers are especially damaging because it’s the time when we see the biggest growth in our income. This has been particularly so during the Covid pandemic that has imposed particular challenges on the mental wellbeing of young people. "We noticed post-pandemic a real need to support young people with their mental health and wellbeing," Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, told me at the recent National Youth Summit. "There's a really great issue in terms of the growing complexity of the world that has made it harder than ever to be young, and young people are really … [Read more...] about Why A Missing Link For Economic Mobility Could Be Young People’s Optimism

TTR Weekly has published a breakdown of the findings as follows: 85% believe aircraft are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected 65% agree that the air in the cabin is as clean as an operating room For those who have travelled since June 2020, 86% felt safe onboard due to Covid-19 measures 89% believe protective measures are well implemented 90% believe airline personnel do a good job of enforcing the measures 83% are strongly in favour of mandatory face masks on board 86% strongly support the rules on … [Read more...] about Survey shows travellers accept Covid safety measures but don’t want them forever
