Jessa Duggar Seewald fired back at pro-abortion leftists who claimed that a post-miscarriage procedure she received was an abortion in an Instagram post Monday. Seewald posted a video on her YouTube channel Friday, detailing how she had lost her fifth pregnancy over the holiday season. Eleven weeks into her pregnancy, Seewald saw a doctor after experiencing a brief period of spotting. “I was just in complete shock,” Seewald said, recounting how she felt after a technician told her the baby wouldn’t make it. “I didn’t even have words. I just immediately started crying. And I was so, so thankful in that moment that I had not gone to the appointment by myself because I almost did. And Ben was there, and he put his arms around me.” Jessa Duggar sets the record straight after online leftists claimed her tragic miscarriage was an abortion. “There is a world of difference between a mortician and a murderer.” pic.twitter.com/BVWOxudWyq — Sarah Weaver (@SarahHopeWeaver) … [Read more...] about ‘My Baby’s Heart Had Stopped’: Jessa Duggar Fires Back After Leftists Say Her Miscarriage Was An Abortion

Women Less Keen To Get Pregnant Since The Pandemic Began, New Study Shows
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin American women may soon lose access to what has been a mainstay of reproductive healthcare for the past two decades: mifepristone , one of the drugs used in medical abortions, which constitute about half of all abortions in this country. A Texas judge is expected to rule imminently in a case against the FDA’s 2000 authorization of mifepristone , which is also used to manage miscarriages and other conditions. Many women had already adjusted their contraceptive plans due to the 2022 U.S. Supreme Court ruling to overturn Roe vs. Wade, and birth control issues contribute to many women’s negative experiences with healthcare providers . Limits on access to birth control and previously approved abortion medications may be particularly problematic for American women in light of a new study that shows more women are delaying or avoiding pregnancy due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The study , published by researchers at … [Read more...] about Women Less Keen To Get Pregnant Since The Pandemic Began, New Study Shows

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Topline A coalition of human rights groups urged the United Nations to take “urgent” action against abortion bans in the U.S., arguing in a letter Thursday the restrictions on abortion in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade constitute a crisis with “devastating” consequences that violate the U.S.’s obligations under international law. Key Facts The letter , signed by 196 organizations and first published by the Guardian , details the “intensifying harms” faced by people in the U.S. who can become pregnant, saying the Supreme Court’s opinion in Dobbs v. Cambodia’s Hun Sen Jails Opposition Leader Kem Sokha for 27 Years
The United Nations and the US Government has described a 27- year prison sentence of Cambodia’s top opposition leader as a “miscarriage of justice. Cambodia’s opposition leader Kem Sokha was sentenced to 27 years in prison for treason on Friday. Kem Sokha was arrested in 2017 in a midnight raid involving hundreds of security officers, accused of plotting a “secret plan” in collaboration with foreign groups to destabilize the administration of veteran Prime Minister Hun Sen. The 69-year-old co-founder of the now-defunct Cambodia National Rescue Party has long been a vocal critic of Hun Sen, whom detractors accuse of stifling democratic freedoms and using the judiciary to silence criticism. Kem Sokha has repeatedly rejected the charges levelled against him, which rights groups claim are intended to keep him out of politics ahead of the July elections. Immediately following the decision in Phnom Penh, he was placed under house arrest and barred from seeing foreigners or … [Read more...] about Cambodia’s Hun Sen Jails Opposition Leader Kem Sokha for 27 Years
Parents Lose Custody Of Child After Releasing Viral Video, Mother Claims
A woman whose family went viral on social media after she posted a clip of her son and husband playing together claimed Monday that Child Protective Services (CPS) removed the child from her custody. “[Our son] has been taken from us until CPS can evaluate our home, because I posted a video of my husband and son playing,” USMC Veteran Savannah Glembin said in a tearful TikTok video. The video features Glembin’s husband playing with their child, Gunner, whose chest is wrapped up in cling film. “[He] was laughing and smiling and it was just a funny thing,” Glembin continued. While some outlets argue Gunner was “tightly wrapped from the neck down,” it’s pretty clear from the video that he wasn’t wrapped around the neck, and definitely not tightly. His legs are also completely free, just his arms are held inside the cling film. Glembin’s husband jokes in the background that Gunner is “a worm,” as he ensures the child is safe and enjoying himself. There is one small clip towards … [Read more...] about Parents Lose Custody Of Child After Releasing Viral Video, Mother Claims
