More fathers are beginning to feel comfortable taking extended time off, a trend that we believe will grow in 2020. Men today are as likely as women to say they need to have time off work to care for babies, aging parents, or sick family members. … [Read more...] about These five culture trends will dominate the workplace in 2020

The plot sounds like straightforward spy fare. But Feig cleverly tweaks the format and characters, adding delightful layers instead of descending into dopey parody. Cooper is an unexpected spy, but in unexpected ways. That is, Feig doesn’t just paint a bumbling fish out of water. She may be in over her head, but as we learn in the film when her boss (Allison Janney) shows an old academy training video, she’s actually a fearsome fighter. She’s mousy and unassuming, and she’s given a comically unglamorous fake identity, but she also becomes the object of crazed sexual obsession of an Italian agent named Aldo (played with abandon by Peter Serafinowicz). McCarthy gets to inhabit the many facets of a multi-dimensional character, as Cooper journeys from desk-jockey to deadly field agent, in between improvising spy maneuvers and holding her own (mostly) in chases and even a thrilling extended knife fight with an enemy female agent. … [Read more...] about How Paul Feig Busted Genres And Activated Melissa McCarthy In “Spy”
While applying for a home loan, you have to arrange for the down payment amount first. Arranging for down payment can be easy if you look at it as a financial goal, say financial planners. Once you decide to accumulate the amount, you should be focused on the target, time on hand and your risk profile. “If you have more than five years on hand, you should consider investing in equity mutual funds or aggressive hybrid funds,” says Pankaj Mathpal, founder and CEO of Optima Money Managers. For shorter tenures, it is better to stick to fixed income options such as fixed deposits, recurring deposits and bond funds. While accounting for down payment you should also take into account consideration the inflation rate for three or five years, stamp duty and registration costs. … [Read more...] about Home loan application: How to improve the chances of approval
At least one cyber security expert disagrees. John Scott-Railton, a researcher with watchdog Citizen Lab who has studied NSO for years, told Fast Company that in 2016 researchers used NSO’s Pegasus to infect a phone that was located in the United States. (Last year, Scott-Railton was the target of a surveillance campaign waged against some of NSO’s critics.) Bill Marczak, a senior research fellow at Citizen Lab, said that if there is a restriction on U.S. phones, users could still infect a device by sending a link through media other than a telephone number, such as through a messaging app. … [Read more...] about How Saudi Arabia allegedly hacked Jeff Bezos
In 2011, Taylor University, a small liberal arts college in Upland, Indiana, began to look for a new way to maximize recruitment. Specifically, they needed to sell students on applying and enrolling, in part to help with tuition revenue goals. That led to a contract with software giant Salesforce, which builds automated systems designed to boost student recruitment. The school now feeds data on prospective students–from hometown and household income to intended areas of study and other data points–into Salesforce’s Education Cloud, which helps admissions officers zero in on the type of applicants they feel are most likely to enroll. … [Read more...] about Schools are using software to help pick who gets in.
