Salil Parekh has been chief executive and managing director of Infosys since January 2018 India’s second largest software firm Infosys said on Sunday that its board has reappointed Salil Parekh as managing director and chief executive officer for five more years starting July, reposing trust in a leader who has turned around the company ever since he took over in January 2018. In a filing to exchanges on May 22, the company said, “The board in a meeting on May 21 approved the reappointment of Parekh subject to the approval of shareholders.” ESOPs to retain top talent The company has also rolled out performance-linked stock units to nearly 100 top executives amid rising attrition. The upper chamber resumed session at 10 a.m. and will approve a concurrent resolution allowing the Senate and the House of Representatives to convene as the National Board of Canvassers on May 24 to canvass the votes and later proclaim the country’s next president and vice president. Firefly to reinstate flights to Singapore from Subang
- A + A KUALA LUMPUR (May 23): Malaysia Aviation Group's low-cost arm Firefly is set to resume its service from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang to Seletar Airport in Singapore after more than two years of suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic and border closure, effective June 13, 2022. In a statement on Sunday (May 22), the carrier said the twice-daily return flights are set to be operated by ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft with a capacity of 72 seats and will progressively increase their services by year end. It said tickets can be purchased now from as low as RM119 one-way and are available for sale through the Firefly mobile app, website, booking offices and travel agents.
