LUCIE — One of three winning tickets in Monday’s Fantasy 5 drawing was sold at a 7-Eleven in Port St. Lucie, according to the Florida Lottery.The ticket bore the numbers 6-14-19-21-33 and paid $59,986.86, the lottery said. It was sold at the 7-Elelven on St. Lucie West Boulevard just east of Interstate 95.The other winning tickets were sold in Ocala and Panama City Beach, the lottery said. It’s not a homelessness donation meter.It’s a sunscreen dispenser.The cheery, yellow dispenser, the subject of a mayoral ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Lake Pavilion on Monday, now can be found by the waterfront visitor center next to the Great Lawn, or sometimes by the park fountain.The Sunscreen Application Machine was provided courtesy of the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation, Dr. Steven Rosenberg of Palm Beach Dermatology, and the National Skin Foundation. The Melanoma Foundation plans to install other dispensers downtown, with contributions from local donors.The free dispensers are meant to protect residents and visitors from skin cancer, the most common cancer in the U.S., Stacy Ostrau, executive director of the foundation, said. In estimates for the latest year reported, from the middle of 2016 to mid-2017, population grew typically at two-thirds what it was a year earlier. Many cities grew at half the rate of this decade’s average.West Palm Beach’s 1,404 new residents were down from the growth of about 1,800 a year earlier, though still in line with the decade’s average. The city remains the county’s largest, at an estimated 110,222 people, with Boca Raton not far behind, approaching 100,000.West Palm officials expect continued growth.
