If you think this week features particularly slim pickins' on fantasy football free agent lists, you wouldn't be wrong. The good news is, with many leagues entering the playoffs, there could be a lot of teams who are checked out for the season and therefore less competition for waiver wire pick ups. Here's a look at some suggestions ahead of Week 14:QB: Josh Allen, BillsOver his last two games, Buffalo's rookie signal-caller has combined to post more than 60 fantasy points. Just last week, Allen ran for 135 yards and had two touchdown passes and 231 yards through the air (though he did throw two picks). In Week 14 against the Jets, he could produce yet again. Anyone needing a QB would be silly not to take a risk on Allen this weekend. Also consider: Jeff Driskel, Bengals; Case Keenum, BroncosRB: Jeff Wilson Jr, 49ersThe Niners just can't seem to keep Matt Breida on the field, and his ankle injury opened thing up for Wilson to shine last week, carrying the ball 15 times. On Sunday, Allen led the Bills to a 24-21 win over Ramsey and the Jaguars. Shortly after the win, the Bills went on to troll Ramsey for his comments on Twitter. Before the season began, Ramsey called out many of the quarterbacks in the league in an interview with GQ, with especially choice words for Allen. "I don't care what nobody say. He's trash," Ramsey said of Allen. "And it's gonna show too. That's a stupid draft pick to me. We play them this year, and I'm excited as hell. I hope he's their starting quarterback." Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen made his return to the lineup for the first time since Week 6. Allen threw a 75-yard touchdown in the first quarter, showing off his massive arm strength. Allen’s ability to move the ball immediately makes a difference in the Bills offence. The Buffalo Bills offence has struggled nearly all season, but the return of rookie quarterback Josh Allen appears to have gotten them back on track. Foster carried the ball the rest of the way to the end zone for a 75-yard score. Questions remain about Allen’s ability to play quarterback at the NFL level. He’s still thrown more interceptions than touchdowns and he can … [Read more...] about Bills rookie Josh Allen showed off his insane arm with a 75-yard touchdown
By Dave Campbell Published 5:57 pm PDT, Sunday, September 23, 2018 MINNEAPOLIS — Josh Allen played with the poise of a well-seasoned quarterback, hustling to give Buffalo an early lead in his first NFL road start. Then, the Bills turned their defense loose on Kirk Cousins and delivered a stunningly lopsided victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Allen accounted for three touchdowns as the Bills beat the Vikings 27-6 on Sunday as 16½-point underdogs. The Vikings (1-1-1) allowed the Bills (1-2) to become only the sixth 16-plus-point underdog winner in the NFL’s past 81 point spreads of that size. According to ESPN research, the last such winner was Washington over Dallas on Dec. 3, 1995. “This is a tough place to play. That’s a good Vikings defense,” said Allen, who became the first Bills rookie quarterback to record at least one rushing and passing score in his first career road start. “It just solidifies the trust that I have in my … [Read more...] about Rookie QB Josh Allen helps Bills stun Vikings
