In a series of tweets yesterday, Musk detailed at least three different fronts in which he’s having issues with Apple: 1) Musk says that Apple has cut almost all of its ad spending on Twitter, which is a problem as it is one of Twitter’s biggest ad clients with previous $100 million yearly spends . Musk cites them hating “free speech” as the reason why: 2) Musk says that Apple has now threatened to take Twitter off the App Store, but will not explain why, and he posted a poll asking his followers if Apple should be forced to explain their “censorship” actions. 3) Musk seems to have only recently arrived at the discovery that Apple takes a 30% cut of revenue from in-app sales. Issuing a lengthy public statement, the Italian club announced that every member of the board of directors would leave due to on-going financial investigations. Those relinquishing their positions include Chairman Andrea Agnelli whose family have owned the club for almost 100 years, as well as Vice President Pavel Nedved and CEO Maurizio Arrivabene. China’s President Xi Jinping (Bloomberg filepix) - A + A BEIJING (Nov 29): China is willing to forge a closer partnership with Russia on energy issues to ensure global energy security, President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday, as the G7 grouping of nations prepares to impose new measures on Russia's oil exports. State broadcaster CCTV reported Xi's comments, made in a message to the Fourth China-Russia energy forum. "China is willing to work with Russia to forge a closer energy partnership, promote clean and green energy development and jointly maintain international energy security and the stability of industry supply chains," Xi said, according to the report. - A + A (Nov 29): Marriages in Malaysia rebounded in 2021 as divorces fell further, indicating that Malaysian couples may be more hesitant about separating after the coronavirus pandemic. A total of 214,943 marriages were registered last year, a 15% increase compared to 186,297 in 2020 when marriage plans were disrupted by the pandemic, according to the Malaysian Department of Statistics. The total number of divorces fell 7.1% to 43,934. Non-Muslim marriages declined 4.7%, with the number of inter-ethnic marriages increasing 11.7%, making up almost 8% of total marriages. Muslim divorces dropped 16.4%. Yelich had the trophy in 2018 and was having an even better year in 2019 when his fractured kneecap gave the young Dodger the opening he needed to prevent a repeat. Those award-winning campaigns were massive - Yelich went .326-.402-.598 (164 Baseball Reference OPS+) in 2018, and Bellinger .305-.406-.629 (167) the following season. Plus, both were quite young (Yelich was 27, Bellinger 23 in their MVP campaigns) and appeared poised to be at the top of the charts for the foreseeable future.
