Picture: SUFFFOLK POLICE Archant Police are appealing to speak to two individuals in connection with the burglary of an Ipswich chemist. Two people used a garden spade to smash a glass pane in the door of Lloyds Pharmacy in Hawthorn Drive.Once inside, medication and a quantity of cosmetics were stolen.The incident occurred between 10.50pm and 11pm on September 1.Police are also linking this incident to two other recent burglaries at the pharmacy.The most recent incident occurred between 2.20am and 2.35am on September 7.It is believed an offender forced entry by throwing a paving slab through the front door of the business.A third incident took place shortly before 1.30am on August 27 when an unknown person forced entry by smashing glass in the front door.It is believed perfume and … [Read more...] about Can you help Ipswich police speak to these two people in connection to a burglary?

Picture: ARCHANT Archant Police have confirmed a man who died in a two-vehicle crash in Linton near Cambridge was 50-year-old Mitica Baiculescu from Ipswich. Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision on the A1307 on Friday, July 13. At around 9.15pm, a black Volkswagen Passat and a blue Audi A3 collided outside Dalehead Foods in Cambridge Road. Mr Baiculescu, of London Road, who was a passenger in the Volkswagen, died at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles, and three passengers in the Volkswagen, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where one person remains. Police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service just before 1am on Monday, June 11, to reports a man had been stabbed at an address in Pauline Street. Four men are reported to have entered the property shortly before 1am and assaulted the victim with a knife. The victim received stab wounds to his arms, torso, back and legs. He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged. The four men are reported to have left the property via a back alley and fled the scene in the direction of Vaughan Street.
