(CNN) More cases of a rare disease have been reported worldwide, including in the United States -- where one health official said he expects more cases in the days ahead. As of Saturday, 92 confirmed cases and 28 suspected cases of monkeypox were under investigation in 12 countries, the World Health Organization said in a news release. Confirmed cases have been identified in Australia , Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States -- which had between one and five confirmed monkeypox cases as of Saturday, the WHO said. "The situation is evolving and WHO expects there will be more cases of monkeypox identified as surveillance expands in non-endemic countries," the news release said. Those who have settled the proceedings are the independent directors of Fortis Hospitals — Aditya Vij, Sandeep Puri and Balinder Singh Dhillon. Puri was also the chief financial officer of FHL and Dhillon was its non-independent director. An investigation was initiated by SEBI in the matter of Fortis Healthcare Ltd (FHL) after an article published in February 2018 said its promoters have taken at least Rs 500 crore out of FHL and that its statutory auditor had refused to sign off on the company’s second-quarter results until the funds were accounted for. GEORGE TOWN: A businessman from Port Dickson lost a record RM21mil in a Macau scam after he allegedly revealed his bank Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC) numbers to a “bank official”. However, the 63-year-old victim was not from Penang as reported recently, said Selangor Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) chief Asst Comm Azman Ali. “The victim is a millionaire and has several businesses in Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam, and Kuala Lumpur. “From the report that we received from the victim, he is from Port Dickson and not Penang as alleged,” he said briefly when contacted. The case is believed to be the biggest Macau scam ever recorded by the police for a single victim in recent years.
