Former Stryve Foods CEO Acquires Shark Tank Protein Chips Company Quevos

January 31, 2023 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Former CEO of Stryve Foods, Joe Oblas, has acquired Quevos, he recently announced , and, as a result, has become the new CEO of the egg white protein chips brand. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. A recent SEC filing showed Oblas notified Stryve Foods and the board of directors his decision to resign from the company in October 2022. Oblas noted how he first encountered Quevos and its cofounders, Nick Hamburger and Zack Schreier, at the Sweets & Snacks Expo a few years ago, and thought their egg white-based protein products are an “interesting and innovative disruption” to the chips and crackers category. Quevos was launched in 2017 after the founding duo were looking for a low-carb snack, and were inspired by the crispy leftovers of an egg white omelette. The company’s secretly kept production process and a short list of natural ingredients, including pea protein, avocado oil and chia seeds, … [Read more...] about Former Stryve Foods CEO Acquires Shark Tank Protein Chips Company Quevos

Manchester United Signing Bayern Munich And Austria International Marcel Sabitzer Would Be Smart Business

January 31, 2023 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin As the news broke this morning that Christian Eriksen will be sidelined until late April with his ankle injury he picked up in the FA Cup, Manchester United were put on red alert to find a suitable replacement. Some fans suggested that Erik Ten Hag needlessly put out his strongest side against Reading, which was always going to bring the possibility of injuries. It took an Andy Carroll scissor tackle, which he did not even pick up a yellow card for, to take Eriksen out and cause the issue at large. It has been news that Manchester United fans were fearing the worst for. Eriksen has been an integral part of the Red Devils’ revival this season under Ten Hag, providing seven Premier PINC League assists and only missing from two games. The Denmark international has occupied the slot next to Casemiro in a double pivot that has seen a transformation occur in Manchester United’s midfield. His intelligence on and off … [Read more...] about Manchester United Signing Bayern Munich And Austria International Marcel Sabitzer Would Be Smart Business

Indonesia Can Pause To Spotlight Fisheries’ Friend

October 23, 2018 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Susi cue: Pudjiastuti is an Indonesian exemplar. Dimas Ardian/Bloomberg Indonesians are hosting a big international oceans conference in a few days, and this will be a welcome opportunity to show off not just Bali but some special policy attributes of the country's uneven governance. It hasn't been the best year for Indonesia. Output stats have been good, and the country has upheld democratic norms too absent elsewhere in ASEAN. But fate frequently deals a cruel blow, such as September's terrible earthquake and tsunami at Palu, Sulawesi. The recovery scramble has diverted attention from ongoing economic and political anxiety but has not made it go away. Economically, Indonesia should feel better than it does. Indeed, the Jakarta stock index--one supposedly predictive indicator--was in a long climb until spring. But then global markets were spooked again (remember the "taper tantrum"?) about rising U.S. … [Read more...] about Indonesia Can Pause To Spotlight Fisheries’ Friend

Four Seasons Private Retreats In Los Cabos Offer The Perfect Family Escape

January 31, 2023 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin The East Cape of Baja California has been gracefully entering the luxury travel market for years. My first visit was years ago, staying in a small beach bungalow along an expansive stretch of deserted coastline. The massive 1,500-acre Costa Palmas development was just being planned, and there was barely a bulldozer in sight. On a recent visit, the location has been reborn as one of Mexico's most spectacular resort destinations. East Cape is an easy 45 minute drive from San Jose del Cabo International Airport and far away from the boozy corridor of resorts lining Cabo San Lucas. The swimmable azure water and dramatic coastline of the Sea of Cortez backed by a unique desert landscape along the Sierra de la Laguna mountains are breathtaking. The destination is becoming increasingly popular, with extended families choosing this easy escape to Mexico, where numerous activities are available on land and sea. The area is now … [Read more...] about Four Seasons Private Retreats In Los Cabos Offer The Perfect Family Escape
