Pokwang with Atty. Ralph Calinisan. Image: Instagram/@itspokwang27 Actress-comedienne Pokwang appeared to be taking her domestic woes with estranged partner Lee O’Brian to court over the custody of and child support for their daughter Malia, after she tapped a high-profile law firm to represent her. While she did not specifically disclose the case she would be filing, Pokwang was in fighting form when she appeared before the Calinisan Domingo and Beron law offices, where public interest lawyer Ralph Calinisan was a founding partner. Calinisan is also the boyfriend of actress Dawn Chang, who Pokwang met during the 2022 presidential campaign for former Vice President Leni Robredo. “Thank you atty. @ralph_calinisan [emojis] #tuloylanglabanparasakinabukasan,” she began. “Hindi ako susuko para sayo anak @malia_obrian kung naitaguyod ko si ate ng mag isa, mas lalo ako magsisipag at magiging matapang para sayo at sa inyo ng ate mo,” said Pokwang on Instagram. Katy Perry Reveals She Is Dedicated To Staying Sober
Singing sensation Katy Perry revealed her devotion to sobriety during a Monday cocktail event at New York City’s Mister Paradise. Perry joined fellow “American Idol” judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan as well as Ryan Seacrest at the event, but she refused to indulge in any alcoholic beverages despite the boozy-themed gathering. “I’ve been sober for five weeks today,” Perry said, according to People . View this post on Instagram A post shared by De Soi (@drinkdesoi) Perry continued the conversation by letting fans know she made a very special promise not to drink, and it was one she absolutely wasn’t willing to walk back on. “I’ve been doing a pact with my partner and I want to quit,” Perry said dramatically, while reportedly pretending to cry. Perry’s sobriety commitment to fiancé Orlando Bloom is seemingly one she is taking very seriously. Bryan chimed in to playfully coax the star into joining … [Read more...] about Katy Perry Reveals She Is Dedicated To Staying Sober
‘Destiny 2’ Has Four Extra Defiance Weapons Some May Not Realize Even Exist
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Destiny 2 has done something a bit weird this season. While the main roster of Season of Defiance weapons are pretty obvious, as you get them as drops from milestones and battlegrounds and they’re prominently displayed on the focusing screen, it seems as if people do not realize that four extra weapons have arrived with Defiance, and they’re all craftable. After I publish this article, I’m going to do a poll to see how many people knew these weapons existed, but I know a good chunk of the playerbase is unaware, based on my exploration of the issue so far . I am talking about another set of reprised Leviathan weapons, three swords, one for each class, and a shotgun. Goldtusk (the katana sword for Hunters), Throne-Cleaver (the greatsword for Titans), Death’s Razor (the vortex Warlock sword) and Imperial Decree is the shotgun. The issue is that these are hidden away in a single engram in the HELM focusing screen, one … [Read more...] about ‘Destiny 2’ Has Four Extra Defiance Weapons Some May Not Realize Even Exist
‘The Mandalorian’ Finally Seems To Have A Master Plan In Place
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Well, it took five episodes, but we now have an answer to the question “what is The Mandalorian actually about now?” For two seasons, it was about Din protecting Grogu and getting him to the Jedi. But that didn’t work out, so now the show was about…? That question didn’t really seem like it had all that much of a firm answer until this week’s quite good Bryce Dallas-Howard directed episode fully spelled it out. The Mandalorian is now about reassembling the nation of Mandalore. This really started in earnest a few episodes ago with the return to Mandalore by Din and Bo-Katan, seeing both that it was not actually poisoned, even if it was mostly reduced to glass. Then Bo-Katan saw a Mythosaur, a beast of legend, which seems to be interpreted as a sign that the former ruler is the one meant to reunite the people, even if it’s Din that still has the Darksaber, though he doesn’t seem all that attached to it. This … [Read more...] about ‘The Mandalorian’ Finally Seems To Have A Master Plan In Place
Warning: Avoid The Extremely Bad ‘The Last Of Us’ PC Port For Now
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Sony has been doing fairly well with its string of popular PC ports of its older, formerly exclusive PlayStation games. But if there was something of a streak going, that has now come crashing to an end, thanks to The Last of Us Part I Remake’s disastrous port on PC. The issues? Where to start. Its poorly optimized, running terribly often at a poor framerate on any level of machine. Crashes, absurd shader compilation times, bizarre bugs and uh, some interesting visuals on places like the Steam Deck, as seen above, where the game is not yet verified. All of this has resulted in a deluge of negative reviews for the port, which was well-received when it originally launched on PlayStation. It’s at 66% “Mostly Negative” reviews on Steam, and that is unlikely to change until significant fixes are made. Naughty Dog is going to make those fixes, and issued a rare mea culpa about the quality of the release, with the … [Read more...] about Warning: Avoid The Extremely Bad ‘The Last Of Us’ PC Port For Now
‘The Night Agent’ Somehow Lands Netflix’s Third Biggest Premiere Week Ever
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin While I’ve seen The Night Agent hovering at Netflix’s #1 spot on its global top 10 lists since release, those lists never provide actual context or scale. But now that Netflix is releasing some numbers, The Night Agent has been revealed to be…one of their biggest premieres ever? Really? Yes, it’s true. The Night Agent had 168.17 million viewing hours in just its first four days of release, according to Netflix tracking . That’s behind just two other series, both from last year, first place gigahit Wednesday, which had 341.23 million hours, and Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story at 196.2 million. What that means is that season 2 of The Night Agent is 100% guaranteed, as Wednesday obviously got one and Dahmer is even doing more serial killers now just to keep the “Monster” branding going for at least two more seasons. The extent of knowledge I currently have about The Night Agent is that my wife said it’s “pretty … [Read more...] about ‘The Night Agent’ Somehow Lands Netflix’s Third Biggest Premiere Week Ever
