Take the case of business manager Wayne Kamemoto. A veteran of decades in the music industry as business manager to some of the biggest names in music, he worked as a partner at DWA until that firm was acquired by a bigger company. Kamemoto ultimately decided that wasn't the right fit for him. He left only to face a lawsuit from the company that kept him on the sideline for most of 2021.
