Capelouto Globe Correspondents June 30, 2018 About 1,000 people gathered at Boston’s City Hall Plaza Saturday morning to participate in a series of nation-wide protests against the “zero-tolerance” immigration policies of the Trump administration, including the past practice of separating of children from their parents.Boston’s protest, organized by a coalition of civil rights and immigrant activist groups, is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at City Hall Plaza and march to the Boston Common. Capelouto Globe Correspondent June 29, 2018 Thousands are expected to flood Boston’s City Hall Plaza on Saturday for a rally against the Trump administration’s separation of migrant families.The protest, organized by a coalition of civil rights and immigrant activist groups, is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at the plaza and march to the Boston Common. The rally is set to continue there around 12:30 p.m.US Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Joe Kennedy III are expected to attend, according to a press release for the rally.
