DHL Express Malaysia and Brunei managing director Julian Neo said the new service centre will improve shipment processing capacity by 170%, enabling faster transit times that will boost the service for the company's customers in mainland Penang, Perlis and Kedah. Kakao Mobility expands service to Guam
Through the partnership with Miki Taxi, which operates approximately 40 percent of all taxis in Guam, Kakao Mobility plans to offer mobility hail service on the island via its Kakao T application starting in the third quarter. The Guam service will initially be limited to travelers from Korea but will be later expanded to visitors from other countries after establishing a stable service environment. Miki Taxi Chairman Im Hong-soon said Korean tourists in Guam will be able to use mobility services with more ease and safety, and also expected local drivers to benefit from the partnership. Representative image. Food aggregator and delivery platform Swiggy on May 13 said that it has signed a definitive agreement with Times Internet to acquire Dineout, a restaurant tech platform. Swiggy did not disclose the size of the deal and said that Dineout will continue to operate as an independent app post the acquisition. Swiggy said it is looking to capitalize on Dineout’s assets and leverage its position in the dining out space. As a part of the transaction, founders Ankit Mehrotra, Nikhil Bakshi, Sahil Jain and Vivek Kapoor will join Swiggy once the acquisition is completed, Swiggy said. Tesla, Inc. ( TSLA ) is recalling 129,960 vehicles in the U.S. due to a fault in their infotainment systems. The cars that are being recalled include Models 3 and Model Y vehicles that were launched in 2022 as well as Models S and Model X vehicles that were produced in 2021 and 2022. Tesla's infotainment device is used for music, navigation, air conditioning and heating, and controlling the back-up camera and the speed of the windshield wiper. The electronic systems in the recalled vehicles are prone to overheating when the car is charging, causing the touch screen to lag behind or go blank.
