Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin We have just past the one year anniversary of Elden Ring a little while ago, the GOTY winner that has moved 20 million copies already, a FromSoft record by a mile. We also recently got a DLC announcement, and ahead of that, FromSoft has decided to release an official infographic with data from the last year about some interesting stats in the game. A few of my favorite points of data here: Most-Fought Bosses – I suppose this could mean hardest bosses, as more attempts mean more deaths, but I think there are also some here based on accessibility as well: Malenia, Blade of Miquella – 329 million Margit the Fell Omen – 281 million Limgrave Tree Sentinel – 277 million Radagon of the Golden Order – 148 million Starscourge Radahn – 139 million Cannot say that I’m shocked that Malenia is on top, given her difficulty, but yeah you can definitely imagine why the Limgrave Tree Sentinel is so high because … [Read more...] about ‘Elden Ring’ Officially Reveals Its Hardest Bosses, Top Spells And Incantations

Unlocking A Trend: Victorian Symbolism And 1980s Punk Continue To Inspire Hardware For Jewelry
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Locks and padlocks have been witnessing a renaissance in jewelry, borrowing inspiration from both Victorian symbolism and 1980s punk-inspired hardware. Independent designers are influenced by the more romantic spirit of the 19th century, while legendary jewelers such as Tiffany & Co. and fashion houses such as Vuitton and Hermes are reimagining their original designs. Arsenal Re-Sign Jodie Taylor On Short-Term Deal From San Diego Wave
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin After failing to sign a striker in the January transfer window to replace their injured forwards, Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema, FA Continental Cup winners , Arsenal have re-signed their former player Jodie Taylor until the end of the season after the expiration of her contract in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) with San Diego Wave. Taylor previously signed for Arsenal in March 2016, but injuries prevented her from making her debut until the final game of that season. Despite scoring ten goals in 17 matches at the club, after Arsenal signed the much-coveted Miedema from FC Bayern in the summer of 2017, Taylor opted to leave shortly afterwards, signing for Melbourne City FC. Now 36, the itinerant striker has played for 17 club sides on three continents. She represented England at three major tournaments between 2015 and 2019, scoring 19 goals in 51 internationals. Today’s Wordle #636 Hint, Clues And Answer For Friday, March 17th
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Welcome back to Wordle Friday! On Fridays I’ve decided we’ll play for double the points in our competitive game of Wordle. That means double points gained and double points lost. And as we all know, points are the most important thing in life. That’s why they’re called points. What’s the point of life? Points. You get the drift. Point would actually be a decent starting word, though I think words with ‘A’ and ‘E’ are generally the best. After all, Wordle Bot used to use crane as his opening guess and now uses slate. The two are pretty similar when it all comes down to it. In any case, TGIF! It’s been a busy week for your humble narrator and I’m feeling like having a lazy weekend, though I won’t because there’s just too much to get done. No rest for the wicked (or the Wordler). Speaking of which, let’s do this! How To Solve Today’s Wordle The Hint: A bit like grainy. The Clue: Adding the … [Read more...] about Today’s Wordle #636 Hint, Clues And Answer For Friday, March 17th
After His Own Health Scare, Bob Odenkirk Plays A Man Coming Back To Life In His Latest Series, ‘Lucky Hank’
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Bob Odenkirk really wanted to be a novelist. He was inspired by the legendary Jack Kerouac, having read all of his books, citing these as his ‘guiding light.’ “I’ve probably read On the Road three times or more,” explains Odenkirk. “Yeah, I was one of those kids at that age — in my first years of college and even just out of college.” But then he discovered that sketch comedy was, “something that I’d been doing since I was 11 years old, and I thought, wow, you already do this all the time. Why don’t you try to make it a career?” And so, he did. Now he’s coming off years of playing Saul Goodman, first as a supporting character in Breaking Bad , and then as the lead in Better Call Saul. His latest on-screen project is Lucky Hank , which is based on the novel Straight Man by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Russo. In the series Odenkirk plays Hank Devereaux, a reluctant chairman of an English … [Read more...] about After His Own Health Scare, Bob Odenkirk Plays A Man Coming Back To Life In His Latest Series, ‘Lucky Hank’
These Five Caribbean Youth Farmers Are Redefining Cool
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Globally, the need to attract youth into the farming sector has become ubiquitous. From the United States, where the average age of a farmer is 57 to Japan, where the average age is 67, factors such as urbanization and high startup costs have created an ageing crisis with implications for food security. For some countries, attracting young blood to the sector is a matter of survival. In the Caribbean, for example, where 80% of all food is imported and climate shocks have put farmers at the mercy of the environment, innovation, technical literacy and fresh energy have become a necessity. But crisis conditions have a way of breeding change. And across the region, there is a growing movement of young, dynamic agri-entrepreneurs who are not only succeeding in agriculture, but are influencing their peers to get involved too. Regional stakeholders have gotten involved as well, identifying emerging agri-business leaders and helping … [Read more...] about These Five Caribbean Youth Farmers Are Redefining Cool
Today’s Wordle #639 Hint, Clues And Answer For Monday, March 20th
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Spring Break is officially over here, and not a moment too soon. After all, today is the first day of Spring—and the new season has some new surprises in store. Here, we’re forecasted to get several days of snow! Huzzah! I mean, what really differentiates Spring from Winter is, um, the snow . . . or something. Yeah, I’m sick of the snow. Just when you think it’s going to finally melt, a new storm swoops in. But I don’t want to complain too much. We badly need it, for one thing. I’ll take snow over devastating wildfires any day of the week. Also, even though we’ve had more snow than most places in the country, we’re nowhere near as snowed-in as Mammoth Lakes, California: Mammoth Lakes has gotten 500 inches of snow this winter , which is great for a town built on skiing and snowboarding tourism, but must be an enormous pain for anyone trying to actually get anywhere. What a nightmare! I’d own a snow-blower … [Read more...] about Today’s Wordle #639 Hint, Clues And Answer For Monday, March 20th
‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ Is A Truly Wonderful Movie
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin From the very first trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, I suspected we might be in for a treat. When the trailer dropped last summer, I noted that it looked “surprisingly great” and then I tried hard to keep my expectations in check. I’ve been down this road before, and pretty recently. I had my hopes up for The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power and we all know how that turned out. Then there was the Willow Disney Plus series, which left me heartbroken. Far too often these days, movies and TV shows are a huge disappointment, especially when they’re adaptations or sequels. The creators of The Rings Of Power clearly didn’t understand Tolkien. The creators of Willow created a show that feels nothing whatsoever like the original movie. In fantasy especially this seems like a problem. I’m not even a big fan of The Wheel Of Time books but the show mangled that adaptation as well. Well I’m … [Read more...] about ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ Is A Truly Wonderful Movie
Shocking Video Of News Anchor Suffering On-Air Medical Emergency
Los Angeles meteorologist Alissa Carlson Schwartz suffered a horrifying on-air emergency while reporting live on Saturday. Horrifying video of the medical emergency showed her eyes rolling into the back of her head as she lost control of her body. She tried to steady herself, but her head slumped as she lost consciousness and fell to the floor. The collapsed news anchor footage from this morning is horrifying. pic.twitter.com/OaMgJCUCEU — DiedSuddenly (@DiedSuddenly_) March 19, 2023 Medina and Kim continued speaking for a few seconds before realizing something was wrong with Schwartz. “We’re going to take a quick break right now,” they said, when it became apparent that Schwartz needed medical … [Read more...] about Shocking Video Of News Anchor Suffering On-Air Medical Emergency
