Technical View | Nifty forms Doji candle, weakness can resume on breach of 15,735

May 16, 2022 by www.moneycontrol.com

The Nifty ended on a positive note after six straight days of losses in a highly volatile session on May 16, with gains in auto and financial names lifting the market. Amid mixed Asian cues, the Nifty opened marginal higher and, extended gains as the day progressed and closed in on 16,000 but profit booking at higher levels dragged the index down. The Nifty closed at 15,842.30, up 60.10 points, or 0.38 percent, and formed a Doji candle on the daily scale. "For the last three trading sessions, the index is trying to defend its recent low of 15,735. Hence, as long as the Nifty sustains above the said low, the hopes of a pullback attempt from the bulls will remain alive, which will be confirmed on a close above 16,100 levels. In that scenario, a decent target of 16,400 can be expected," Mazhar Mohammad, Founder & Chief Market Strategist, Chartviewindia.in, said. As volatility has remained high, if the index breached 15,735 on a closing basis, weakness shall resume with a … [Read more...] about Technical View | Nifty forms Doji candle, weakness can resume on breach of 15,735

Will Stores Be Successful During Inflation?

May 16, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Stores must understand the mood of today’s shopper in order to be successful. The mood has changed significantly in recent times, and retailers must evaluate how to shift shopping back to stores. It is more complicated than just trying to compete with the internet; the ‘does she still want to shop online’, or ‘does she want to go to a store?’ is only part of the challenge. The consumer’s urge to get out of the house is evident, and that provides an immediate opportunity for stores to find ways to tap into. For instance, shoppers for fashion often want to try on clothes and chose the right color, right fabric and have an assurance that it fits, and stores are set up to do that conveniently. In contrast, during the pandemic I am told that many customers forced to shop online bought two (or three) sizes to insure the proper fit. The rest were returned for credit. That process has hassles that an in-store shopper can avoid. … [Read more...] about Will Stores Be Successful During Inflation?

Monkeypox Case Confirmed In United Kingdom, Here’s What This Rare Infection Can Do

May 8, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Monkeypox is not the type of thing that you see every day. Or even every year for that matter. It’s a very rare viral infection that can spread from person-to-person via close contact and could result in severe illness, even death. That’s why someone recently being diagnosed with monkeypox in England has prompted the U.K. Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to issue an announcement on Saturday . And the UKHSA tends to reserve such announcements for significant news that the general public needs to know rather than things like, “Person has pimple, can’t go to prom.” So before you try to use, “sorry I have monkeypox,” as an excuse to get out of work or a date, keep in mind that others may then call the public health authorities to get you placed in isolation. The infected person is indeed currently under isolation and receiving treatment at the expert infectious disease unit at the Guy’s and St Thomas’ National Health Services … [Read more...] about Monkeypox Case Confirmed In United Kingdom, Here’s What This Rare Infection Can Do

His typical facial expression — looking a little wonderstruck, a lot joyful — reflects Rosenthal’s persona: positive, ebullient, curious, caring and quick-witted. Rosenthal is beloved by legions of fans who are cheered by his gung-ho humor and inquisitive quest for the best. So this fifth season of Somebody Feed Phil , which premieres May 25 on Netflix, has been highly anticipated.
