E-Ganja Is Highly Popular Among Chiang Mai Teens And Government Officials
(CTN News) – Chiang Mai’s e-ganja vendors reveal that wealthy teenagers or government officials are their best customers. E-ganja, like e-cigarettes, is a portable electronic device that simulates smoking. Unlike e-cigarettes, the e-ganja electronic device contains cannabis oil instead of tobacco. E-ganja electronic devices, unlike conventional cigarettes , do not emit any odor or smoke, which is one of their advantages. Most smokers buy e-ganja online, and it costs about 3,000 baht. Despite not wanting to be named, a 22-year-old woman admitted she and friends regularly use e-ganja. “E-ganja can be used for two to three weeks after charging. It doesn’t produce smoke or smell, so it won’t bother others. “ E-ganja became more popular because many people are allergic to bongs or ground cannabis wrapped in paper. Smokers can control themselves with e-ganja because it contains cannabis oil.” Many vendors import e-ganja, even among government officials, … [Read more...] about E-Ganja Is Highly Popular Among Chiang Mai Teens And Government Officials
What Travelers Need To Know Before They Wire Money
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin More travelers than ever are wiring money — to vacation rental owners, tour operators, and each other. It doesn't always work. Jermaine Amado, a photographer based in Denver, recently recently booked an excursion for an excursion in Colombia. The tour operator agreed to accept a money transfer from PayPal. When he initiated the transfer, PayPal blocked him. It turns out Colombian accounts were restricted — according to locals, because of fear of money laundering. "I didn't get to go on the excursion," he says. That's lesson one about traveling and sending money: Some restrictions apply. I've had trouble using PayPal in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. And on a recent trip to Turkey, I found that I couldn't use PayPal at all. Now more than ever, wiring money is fraught with challenges. Consider the recent problems with Zelle scams . Criminals routinely dupe travelers through the peer-to-peer payment app. … [Read more...] about What Travelers Need To Know Before They Wire Money
Checks & Imbalances: Mar-A-Lago’s Busy Week
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Welcome to the Checks & Imbalances newsletter . Today we get you caught up on this week’s abundance of Trump news. Mar-A-Lago Is Looking To Hire 91 Foreign Workers This Year M ar-a-Lago, former president Donald Trump’s private club-cum-legal residence at the center of an investigation into his handling of classified government documents, has relied on temporary foreign workers to keep the sprawling estate humming. Last year, the Trump Organization sought 87 foreign workers for the Palm Beach property, up from 78 a few years earlier. It’s not clear how many were hired, but no doubt at least some likely had backstage access to political theater (maybe even scraps of presidential records floating in toilets ). On Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided Mar-a-Lago, with one of Trump’s attorneys confirming the agency’s search related to an investigation into his handling of classified … [Read more...] about Checks & Imbalances: Mar-A-Lago’s Busy Week
China’s ‘Zero-Covid’ Fiasco Will Give Dollar Rally New Life
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin People betting that the U.S. dollar’s slide will continue might want to pay more attention to what’s afoot in Asia. Or, perhaps more to the point, what’s not afoot here. Take China, where officials have been hinting all year about a pivot away from giant growth-killing “ zero Covid ” lockdowns. Myriad times, chatter about a more “dynamic” approach prioritizing vaccinations and testing over shutting down major metropolises excited investors. Then, new lockdowns ended the party. This pattern played out again this week in Hainan , an island province dependent on tourism. And for investors, it was a reminder that the forces behind the near-zero growth China produced in the April-June quarter—just 0.4% year-on-year—might not be an aberration. Odds are, the People’s Bank of China will remain in supporting-growth mode. Asia’s biggest economy, remember, has a bit of a property crisis on its hands. The strains that saw … [Read more...] about China’s ‘Zero-Covid’ Fiasco Will Give Dollar Rally New Life
