Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Succession is back for its fourth and final season and that makes me both tremendously happy and a little bit sad. Happy to get one more delicious season of family drama, backstabbing and plotting that makes House Of The Dragon almost look tame by comparison; sad that it’s almost over, of course. I could handle a couple more seasons of Succession. In any case, there’s blood in the water. Logan Roy is making his last gambit and the sharks are circling. Who will end up sitting on the Iron Waystar RoyCo Throne? Who will bend the knee? Let’s talk about it. The Revenge Of The Kids When we left off at the end of Season 3, Logan Roy (Brian Cox) had just made a surprise play. After meeting with GoJo creator Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard) the Roy patriarch decided that now was the time to sell rather than acquire. Matsson would take over both companies—instead of one of Roy’s idiot children—and Logan would walk away … [Read more...] about ‘Succession’ Season 4, Episode 1 Review: Rummage Sale

‘Destiny 2’ Gives Update On Irritating Quicksilver Storm Bug
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin It’s one of just two Strand exotics in all of Destiny 2 and…it’s been bugged since the Strand subclass launched at the beginning of Lightfall. I’m talking about Quicksilver Storm, where the situation is made worse because it was part of a $100 pre-order pack for Lightfall. It was pretty good before Lightfall’s launch with its powerful alt-grenade fire, but now that Strand is actually here in Destiny 2 and it should be even more useful, it hasn’t worked properly since launch. Quicksilver Storm has lost its 40% damage buff against red bar enemies, something all exotics primaries are supposed to have, which is poor timing given how beefy enemies have become in most Lightfall content. This also happened to Touch of Malice, but far fewer people have/use that gun. I know that many people are not even aware of the problem, as Bungie only listed it as a known issue on launch day and it’s barely been talked about since. But as of … [Read more...] about ‘Destiny 2’ Gives Update On Irritating Quicksilver Storm Bug
‘The Glory’ Is Netflix’s New Sleeper Korean Megahit You Need To Watch
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin While it’s not getting nearly the same headlines as Squid Game, Netflix absolutely has a new Korean superhit on its hands with The Glory, a revenge thriller that recently wrapped up its 16 episode first season run after airing in two parts. I’ve been watching it over the last few days, and while I’ve just finally seen it drop out of the Netflix top 10 list in the US entirely (Wednesday is back in it?), looking at the numbers, it has performed extraordinarily well globally. The last numbers Netflix published just over a week ago show The Glory with 123.5 million hours viewed that week. And it was 124.4 million hours the week before that. It’s dwarfing English shows over the same period like You season 4 (64 million hours) and Shadow and Bone season 2 (50.4 million hours). The Korean revenge drama follows a young woman, Dong-Eun, who was bullied and badly scarred in high school by a group of friends. That friend … [Read more...] about ‘The Glory’ Is Netflix’s New Sleeper Korean Megahit You Need To Watch
Polymath Of Rap, IDK, Applies Both Sides Of His Brain
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin IDK’s creative acumen, his savvy for business, and his thoughtful airs pierce. His inner seas are oceans of song, direction, and rhymes of personal revolution. IDK is a polymath. He performs as musician and manager alike, handling the economics of his artistry, negotiating his deals firsthand. It’s as unusual as it is laudable and difficult. He’s collaborated with The Neighborhood, Saba, KAYTRANADA, Domo Genesis, Young Thug, A$AP Ferg, Denzel Curry , and Bas. Dancing with his right brain, he turns silence into capturing sound. Balancing his left brain, he confers with the powers of bureaucracy, law, and record labels. “Most artists that I meet are focused on the right brain. They tend to struggle a lot. They feel restricted. And there's a tendency to rely on their team or their manager. It’s good to have people like that, but dependence could affect your livelihood because you can't control anyone else,” said IDK. … [Read more...] about Polymath Of Rap, IDK, Applies Both Sides Of His Brain
