The Grounded G1 is a state-of-the-art RV that aims to set a new standard for sustainable travel with class-leading layout customization, solar power, and zero emissions. The G1 is built on Ford’s well-established E-Transit platform. Both the powertrain and the living systems of the G1 are fully powered by electricity, aided in part by 650-Watt solar capacity, thanks to solar panels built into the roof. Ford batteries allow the vehicle to utilize a nationwide network of battery chargers. Unbeknownst to many guests, theme park giants like Disney and Universal Studios don't tend to build their own attractions. Instead they rely on specialist engineering firms to make rides to their specification or they buy off-the-shelf systems so that their designers can give them a magic touch. This trend dates back to the early days of the theme park industry when Walt Disney himself bought six ride mechanisms from California-based manufacturer Arrow Development so that they could be part of the opening day line-up for Disneyland in 1955.
