As AI war rages, Korea seeks a place among giants

February 8, 2023 by koreajoongangdaily.joins.com

Google CEO Sundar Pichai [REUTERS/YONHAP] Amid the accelerated rivalry for artificial intelligence (AI) leadership between Microsoft and Google, Korea's tech companies are eyeing the non-English speaking countries with their capabilities in search engine and messenger services. February 8, 2023 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Michael Huppe is President & CEO of SoundExchange, an adjunct music law professor, published author, frequent contributor and lecturer. Over the last decade, we’ve seen the size of the music revenue pie grow significantly as the popularity of streaming services has skyrocketed. Today, streaming accounts for 84% of U.S. recorded music revenue . Over 90 million people in the U.S. subscribe to one or more music streaming services for the price of a few cups of coffee a month. And global revenue from music streaming, both paid and ad-supported, is predicted to grow to $90 billion by 2030. Yet, since the inception of music streaming, a core question remains unanswered: How should these streaming services pay music creators? How do we slice up the revenue pie? Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin “I believe a home should tell a story— where you’ve been, who you love, what really matters to you,” said Nate Berkus, the celebrity home designer and co-host of “The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project” on HGTV, told me in a telephone interview. “The Nate Home by Nate Berkus product line helps you tell your story with beautiful fabrics, superior design, and timeless style.” Unlike his peers, Berkus said he wasn’t itching to design a home collection. He’d been there and done that already with Target TGT Corp. in 2012 with The Nate Berkus Collection, which was sold exclusively at Target stores and Target.com. The signature home collection featured 150 different items, including bedding, bath, accessories, lighting, rugs and window treatments for $5.99 to $149.99. Nate Home by Nate Berkus is also gently priced. The line launched yesterday at mDesign Home Decor, Target, Kohl’s, Amazon AMZN , Belk and Bed Bath & Beyond … [Read more...] about Everything You Need To Know About Nate Berkus’ New Home Collection
