August 18, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin For especially millennials, seeing Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti brings a strong sense of nostalgia from their days starring on the hit 2004 MTV reality show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County , which followed a group of high schoolers weaving their way through young love & friendship in the California beachfront town. These days, however, you will find two very grown-up entrepreneurs that have paved their own unique paths in business, understanding that Laguna Beach gave them their start but they alone have built what will ultimately become their legacies. Now nearly 18 years since they were first introduced to the world on reality television, Cavallari and Colletti are now the hosts of their own Laguna Beach rewatch podcast with Dear Media called Back to the Beach . On the weekly show, which surpassed one million downloads in its first week alone, they dive into the parts that never made it to … [Read more...] about Kristin Cavallari & Stephen Colletti Get Candid About Their New Podcast And Finding Success Beyond Reality TV

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin The wait is almost over. The House Of The Dragon premiere is slated to air on HBO and HBO Max this Sunday, August 21st at 9pm ET. The final, controversial episode of Game Of Thrones aired on May 19th, 2019 on HBO in a world that looks very different from the world we live in now. A year later, many of the world’s economies would grind to a halt as restaurants and schools and businesses shutdown in the face of an unprecedented global pandemic. Work on shows like House Of The Dragon, the prequel spinoff to Game Of Thrones, would grind to a halt or, at the very least, slow to a crawl. So what is House of the Dragon and why should fans—including disenchanted fans upset with how Game Of Thrones ended—be excited about this new show? Read on for everything you need to know about House of the Dragon and why I, for one, think everyone should be genuinely hyped for what’s to come. Review: Beast Is a Lean, Tight Survival Thriller That Doesn’t Reinvent Any Wheels

August 18, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin A good constant-pressure, mile-a-minute-danger thriller is always welcome, and it’s an approach to plotting that works well in a variety of genres from the dramatic tension of Uncut Gems to the sci-fi-horror stylings of Underwater . Beast is another film in that tradition, a tight 90-minute thriller about a family in jeopardy against a natural force that’s out for blood. It’s a film that doesn’t reinvent the wheel (and at times is a little too simple), but it’s a decent survival thriller upheld by a talented set of performers, easily worth the time of any audience who wants a tight thrill ride in a lean theatrical package. Idris Elba plays Dr. Nate Daniels, a man who takes his daughters Meredith (Iyana Halley) and Norah (Leah Jeffries) on a trip into the heart of Africa to bond and reconnect following the tragic death of his ex-wife/their mother. He meets up with friend Martin Battles (Sharlto Copley), a ranger who … [Read more...] about Review: Beast Is a Lean, Tight Survival Thriller That Doesn’t Reinvent Any Wheels
