So how long will you have to wait before these updates are released? Officially, Apple has not provided a specific date for iOS 16.4, simply saying “spring,” but several indicators suggest it is not far away. First, the software has been in beta testing since February 16. Second, using the brilliant Thinky Bits chart (below), you can see a consistent test period of around 40-50 days for major point releases. Forty days from February 16 is March 28. Third, “spring” starts on March 20. Forth, Apple likes to release major iOS updates on Tuesdays. A new report by state regulators found hydraulic fracturing likely did not cause problems with drinking water in Pavillion, Wy. The multi-year investigation by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ) found the “Evidence does not indicate that hydraulic fracturing fluids have risen to shallow depths utilized by water-supply wells.” “Also, based on an evaluation of hydraulic fracturing history, and methods used in the Pavillion Gas Field, it is unlikely that hydraulic fracturing has caused any impacts to the water-supply wells,” WDEQ investigators reported Thursday. Complaints of a bad taste and odor in the water by Pavillion residents has been used by environmentalists as evidence fracking posed a danger to drinking water across the country. Fracking involves injecting water, sand and some chemicals deep underground to break open shale to extract oil and natural gas. But it seems the Limited Test has revealed a bit more than Valve anticipated, with data miners finding files that point to some brand new anti-cheat features, the addition of announcer packs and more. Twitter user Aquarius , who was one of the leading detectives prior to the announcement and found multiple updates that pointed to CS2 being real, took a look through the code and found a reference to a new anti-cheat feature that will cancel matches if a cheat is found. According to researchers at 9to5Google , the latest version of the Google Photos Android app has been found to contain controls for a brand new Video Unblur feature, not currently available on any Pixel device. After ‘forcibly’ enabling the feature by tweaking the application code, the team was able to open a video file and view a new adjustment slider, presumably to control the amount of the Unblur effect. I say ‘presumably’ because, as of now, the adjustment doesn’t actually have any effect on the loaded video. It’s likely then that Google has coded the new controls in preparation for a feature which will appear at some point in the near future.
