Nvidia Q1 FY2023 Earnings Report Preview: What To Look For

May 24, 2022 by www.investopedia.com

Key Takeaways Analysts estimate adjusted EPS of $1.30 vs. $0.91 in Q1 FY 2022. Data center revenue is expected to rise at a torrid pace YOY. Companywide revenue is expected to increase, but at a slower pace than in recent quarters. Nvidia Corp. ( NVDA ) is coming off two years of soaring profits and revenue, much of it spurred by the rise in online activity during the COVID-19 pandemic. The shift to online entertainment and remote work during the pandemic helped fuel demand for both Nvidia's gaming and data center products. Now, Nvidia says it is focusing on building on that growth by investing in new products, including on chips aimed at expanding its lead in artificial intelligence (AI). Investors will be watching to see if Nvidia can maintain its growth when the company reports earnings on May 25, 2022 for Q1 FY 2023. Nvidia's latest fiscal year ( FY ) ended Jan. 30, 2022. Analysts expect adjusted earnings per share ( EPS ) and revenue to grow, but at a … [Read more...] about Nvidia Q1 FY2023 Earnings Report Preview: What To Look For

Daily Voice | We do not see any significant earnings downgrade risk in Q4FY22, says Shiv Chanani of Elara Securities

April 4, 2022 by www.moneycontrol.com

Shiv Chanani is the Head of Research at Elara Securities India. "Given that much of the increase in commodity prices has taken place in the second half of the quarter, we do not expect a significant impact on margins in Q4 as companies will be running down inventories," Shiv Chanani, head of research at Elara Securities India, said in an interview to Moneycontrol. However, investors will be interested in listening to the management commentary about the next quarter's outlook, he added. Elara is positive on the BFSI space as it believes that the twin factors of rebound in credit growth and sustained low credit cost would drive earnings growth in the sector, says Chanani, who has more than two decades of experience in equity research and fund management. How do you approach the equity markets shifting focus from geopolitical tensions to corporate earnings and US Fed moves? The market has been able to climb the wall of multiple worries ranging from geo-political issues to … [Read more...] about Daily Voice | We do not see any significant earnings downgrade risk in Q4FY22, says Shiv Chanani of Elara Securities

What To Watch For Urban Outfitters Stock Past Earnings?

May 24, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ NDAQ : URBN), a lifestyle retailer focusing on young adults and teenagers, is scheduled to report its first-quarter fiscal 2023 (year ending January 2023) results on Tuesday, May 24. We expect the company to likely beat revenue and earnings expectations marginally. Urban Outfitters has performed well in recent years, where in its FY 2022 (year ended Jan 2022) revenues grew 32% to $4.5 billion and earnings per share grew to $3.17 from a mere 1 cent in FY 2021. URBN’s stock is down 11% in the last week after Target TGT warned of rapid changes in consumer spending during the first quarter. While supply chain and inflationary pressures are a major headwind for URBN as well for the upcoming quarter, we believe that URBN’s stock drop came without reward to its individual revenue or expenses considerations. And, that this sell-off in URBN stock might be a tad overdone. Our forecast indicates that … [Read more...] about What To Watch For Urban Outfitters Stock Past Earnings?

May 20, 2022 by www.forbes.com

Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Rashad Bilal , a financial advisor, and Troy Millings , an educator, have quickly become the cultural kings of financial literacy. The dynamic duo from the Bronx is on a quest to provide access to financial knowledge that the Black community can use to effect real change. They saw a scarcity of information in the financial literacy field when it came to the Black community and began the famed podcast Earn You Leisure (EYL) in January 2019. With just an iPhone, shotgun mics, and the knowledge they held, the cultural shifters had a vision that led them to a level of popularity that piqued the interest of high-profile celebrities such as Steve Harvey, Nick Cannon, Jemele Hill, and many more. Rashad and Troy have since become the go-to resource for financial literacy in the Black community. They sat down with For(bes) The Culture to talk about how they developed their podcast and secured their television deal with … [Read more...] about Meet Rashad And Troy, The Financial Powerhouses Of REVOLT’s Assets Over Liabilities
