Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Gasoline prices are rising again – up more than 30 cents a gallon in the past month and around 15 cents in the last two weeks alone. Motorists should brace for more pain. One reason is that the global market for refined products is about to be upended by the latest European Union (EU) sanctions on Russia’s petroleum industry. On February 5, the EU will ban imports of Russian refined products like diesel, jet fuel, gasoline, and heating oil. While global oil markets have recently handled a similar ban on Russian crude imports quite well, these product sanctions could be far more disruptive. Markets for refined fuels are much more complex than for crude, with refineries configured to process certain types of feedstock crudes and to manufacture varying slates of products, depending on regional demand patterns. The issue for Europe is that it relies on Russia for about 40 percent of its refined product imports and … [Read more...] about EU’s Ban On Russian Diesel To Stoke Turmoil In Global Fuel Markets

Across the country and the world, cities are shutting down, leaving humans from Seattle to Shanghai without traditional ways of finding distraction. The mandate for social distancing that has proven essential at slowing the spread of the coronavirus will cut about $12 billion of entertainment revenue from the U.S. if the shutdown lasts until July, as President Trump signaled . Billions more are not being spent on creating new content as film and television production is frozen. Things could get a lot worse. “ This is definitely unprecedented and turning everyone's lives completely upside down,” says Ryan Borba, managing editor at concert tracker Pollstar. Manchester United Reportedly Interested In Signing FC Barcelona Prodigy Ansu Fati
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Ansu Fati from FC Barcelona. The 20-year-old who inherited Lionel Messi's '10' shirt and signed a new contract through to 2027 with a €1bn ($1.09bn) release clause in October 2021 is currently struggling for form in Xavi Hernandez's La Liga-leading first team. In the club legend's successful new system of four midfielders , there is only space for one pure winger on the right flank which appears to be Raphinha amid Ousmane Dembele's fresh injury. Gavi, or sometimes Pedri, operates as a false left winger, in an area of the park where Fati is often deployed. In games where Robert Lewandowski has been suspended, the Guinea-Bissau-born prodigy has also failed to impress as a striker and was hooked by Xavi in favor of Alejandro Balde at Girona last Saturday where Pedri scored the winner in a scrappy 1-0 victory. Barca are currently faced with a dilemma, as La … [Read more...] about Manchester United Reportedly Interested In Signing FC Barcelona Prodigy Ansu Fati
