(Image: @varanasi.restaurants/Instagram) Johnny Depp dined with English musician Jeff Beck and around 20 others at an Indian restaurant in the UK spending around Rs 47 lakh ($60,000), after the actor won a widely-publicised defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp shut down the Varanasi Restaurant in Birmingham to the public on Sunday for a dinner with 20 friends. The restaurant’s Operations Director Mohammed Hussain said Depp’s final bill was around £50,000 ($60,000) in total, TMZ reported. The 58-year-old actor has been performing with Beck in the UK and even missed the final day of the defamation trial for a show. An album is next in line for the two. Amber Heard has said the verdict in the case left her heartbroken. A man from Saudi Arabia has offered to marry Amber Heard after she lost her highly-publicised defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp. In a voice note sent to her official Instagram handle, the man proposed to Amber Heard even as he pointed out that ‘all other doors’ seemed to be closing for her in the aftermath of the trial. The high-profile televised court battle between Depp and Heard ended when a seven-person jury found that both had defamed each other, but weighed in far more strongly with Depp. The Pirates star also received an outpouring of support on social media after the trial, while Heard had to contend with an unprecedented amount of hate. The judge who presided over Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s defamation trial officially entered the judgement into court record Friday, and conditions may make it costly for Heard to appeal, TMZ reported. The judge has indicated that if Heard wants to move forward with appealing the verdict , she must post bond for the $8.35 million she already owes Depp as well as an additional $621,000, according to TMZ . The nature of the 6% additional fee hasn’t been expressly explained but might be a form of interest penalty for the delay an appeal would create in the collection of the original amount that was awarded to Depp, the outlet reported.
