The White House highlights this kind of data-sharing in its COVID-19 plan. The document says the government will release regular reports about the state of vaccination, testing, supplies, contact tracing, and information for and about health workers. It will also develop a dashboard for state and local officials that tracks hospital admissions, hospital capacity, vaccine supplies, and medical equipment supply.
