The Crimson Tide (14-0) faces the Tigers (14-0) in the playoffs for the third straight season and Alabama is a 5 1/2-point favorite in Santa Clara as it looks for a back-to-back championship. Last season, Alabama beat Clemson in the semifinal before knocking off George for the title.
