Volkswagen unveiled the all-new 2020 Passat sedan on Monday at the 2019 Detroit auto show. The redesigned VW Passat will continue to compete in a shrinking, but highly competitive mid-size sedan market currently dominated by the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Nissan Altima. It’s powered by a mildly-updated version of the 2.0-litre, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine found in the current model. Horsepower remains at 174, but torque output from 184 pound-feet to 207 pound-feet. The 2020 Volkswagen Passat will arrive in US showrooms in the summer of 2019.
