Viju Khote, a veteran Hindi and Marathi film-theatre actor passed away due to multiple organ failure on September 30. He was 77.The actor, most famous for playing the dacoit Kalia in the film Sholay and Robert in Andaz Apna Apna, died at his residence.Khote featured in popular films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Ventilator and the television show Zabaan Sambhalke.Close "He passed away today at 6.55 am peacefully in his sleep at the residence. US President Donald Trump on Saturday hand-picked Scott Gottlieb to lead US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) – the regulatory agency that approves every food and drug products marketed in America.The appointment is still to be confirmed by the US Senate.Gottlieb, 44, served in several senior positions at the US FDA during the George W Bush administration. He was trained as a physician and is known as a conservative health policy expert with deep ties to the pharmaceutical industry.Gottlieb is also a partner at New Enterprise Associates, a large US-based venture capital firm. The firm’s investments include life-sciences companies. Lupin on Tuesday posted 65 percent decline in net profit to Rs 221.7 crore in the third quarter ended December, much below analyst expectations due to slide in US generics business and forex losses.Lupin posted Rs 455 crore net profit in the same period of previous year.
