Body found near park, photo by The Pattaya News. A tourist spotted a dead body near a Pattaya park yesterday. Rescuers were alerted of the discovery of the decaying body at around 6pm. The body was found near a park on Soi Chaiyaphruek 4 in the Bang Lamung district. The dead man was not carrying any identification documents. He was wearing a blue shirt, shorts, and sandals. Officers said the man appeared to have died at least three days prior. Alongside his body were several bottles of energy drinks and rice whiskey, known as Lao Khao in Thailand and moonshine overseas. Police kept the bottles as evidence. A nearby security guard, 72 year old Wichian Wongchalee, told The Pattaya News that the body was first discovered by a foreign tourist exploring the park. He also speculated that the man might have been a non-Thai migrant worker who worked on a fishing boat, but this has not been confirmed. Russian tourists spotted a body, photo by TMN Cable TV Pattaya. Russian tourists spotted a foreigner’s body floating off a Pattaya beach as they were sunbathing on Monday. A hotel clerk said the tourists rushed to tell him to call the police after they discovered the body floating in the sea. Pattaya Police and rescuers arrived to retrieve the man’s body at Wong Amat Beach in front of Soi 16 in the Naklue sub-district of Bang Lamung district. The dead man was found facedown 25 metres from the beach, wearing only blue shorts. The man was tangled in a line buoy. No wounds were found on his body, The Pattaya News reported. He was around 50 years old. The man’s nationality was unknown at the time of publication. The body was transferred to Bang Lamung Hospital to await identification. Officers from Baan Pong Police Station , medical workers from Baan Pong Hospital, and Ruam Jai Kan Kuson Rescue Team were alerted about the body and rushed to the house in the Berk Prai sub-district in the Baan Pong district at 10pm last night. House owner Narongpashon found the body. The 60 year old waited for officers at the scene and took them to the body in the banana plantation behind his house. More than 20 years after revered Thai monk Luang Phu Woraphon Thawitan passed away, his body remains displayed in a glass case at his temple in Khon Kaen province, northeast Thailand . Not only has the deceased monk’s body not decomposed – defying science – but his skin has turned emerald green , reports Sanook . Yesterday, Phra Khru Sri Pattarasan, the current abbot of Chumphon Temple in Waeng Noi district, told reporters about the former abbot’s miraculous powers which have lived on after death. On January 18, 2001, Luang Phu told Phra Khru that he would no longer be at the temple by the end of the rainy season. Phra Khru asked him where he was going, and the elderly monk said it was time for him to die. On May 20, the monk passed away at 101 years old. The abbot said that the monks tried to burn Luang Phu’s body, but it “wouldn’t burn.” So, they placed his body in a simple glass coffin. A decomposing body was found Wednesday inside of a car that was about to be scrapped, Alabama law enforcement said. The car was sitting inside of a shopping center parking lot for an unknown number of days with the body inside of it, according to a Facebook post from Jasper Police Department. Numerous calls were made to the department related to a death in the vehicle, but the car was still scheduled to be scrapped behind the business before it was investigated, Newsweek noted . When law enforcement arrived, they found the body of a male in advanced stages of decomposition, suggesting he’d been there for quite some time. The body was found with narcotics and paraphernalia, suggesting that the likely cause of death was an overdose. The cause of the death is under investigation. The South Korean police believe the man died of a health issue as his accommodation was unhygienic. The dead body of the 67 year old Thai man named Boonchu, who worked illegally in South Korea, was found on a mountain in Pocheon city in the Gyeonggi province. The spot was about 200 meters from a pig farm where Boonchu worked and lived. South Korean police officers discovered a tractor car belonging to Boonchu’s employer, a 60 year old South Korean man named Kim, about 100 meters away from his body.
