Ice Seguerra brought his wife Liza Diño to Sagada, a place he considers his “sanctuary,” to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. The couple arrived in the picturesque town last Wednesday, Jan. 8, as per Diño’s Instagram page on the same day. She accompanied her post with photos of them striking wacky poses while clad in black hoodies. Diño noted that it was her first time to visit Sagada, which she said is Seguerra’s favorite place. The Secret Ingredient to Finding Your Next Million-Dollar Innovation Idea
Companies inattentive to innovation get left behind--or worse, fail altogether. While those of us over 40 fondly remember starting our weekends with a trip to the video store, for example, the experience pales in comparison to conveniently streaming blockbuster entertainment from the comfort of your couch. While hailing a cab in New York City was fun the first time, there's nothing like the certainty of watching the map on your screen as a dedicated driver heads your way to pick you up. In other words, though one experience may have delighted us initially, a more innovative--and perhaps industry altering--option could be waiting in the wings vying for our business. Successful brands are those that out-innovate the competition. They never settle for the status quo, always seeking the next differentiator for their category. They survive in today's highly competitive landscape by continually evolving to deliver better products, better services, and--most importantly--better customer … [Read more...] about The Secret Ingredient to Finding Your Next Million-Dollar Innovation Idea
Bette Midler Tweets ‘Try Breastfeeding, It’s Free,’ Amidst Baby Formula Shortage, Here’s The Reaction
Share to Twitter Share to Linkedin As the U.S. deals with a baby formula shortage, actress and author Bette Midler posted a tweet that led to a bit of a feeding frenzy on Twitter. On Thursday, Midler tweeted, “TRY BREASTFEEEDING! It’s free and available on demand,” in response to a holy oligopoly, Batman-tweet from Stephanie Ruhle, the host of The 11th Hour and a Senior Business Analyst for NBC News : Midler’s tweet certainly didn’t go unnoticed on the Twittersphere and got quite a response, as in thousands of responses. One potential reason for the attention is that Midler is quite well-known for things ranging from singing “The Rose” and “Wind Beneath My Wings” to acting in movies such as Ruthless People and Beaches to advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. When a celebrity tweets anything, even if it’s about farting or art or both, it’s rare that no reaction will occur. But another reason was probably the specific wording of Midler’s tweet and the fact … [Read more...] about Bette Midler Tweets ‘Try Breastfeeding, It’s Free,’ Amidst Baby Formula Shortage, Here’s The Reaction
